Herr Kaleuns,
1. I've gone to all the trouble of getting my ships journal to match my sub number(currently U-35), and most everything's OK, except, I'm receiving replies from my patrol reports as U35 and I'm seeing outgoing messages for another U35 which couldn't possibly be my boat. Is there any way to fix this? I like having the messages, the more the better, It's just a bit unnerving seeing messages for another boat with the same number.
2. Also, the UZO seems to have two focus views. One has a very different scale and seems to be a smaller magnification. Sometimes when I go to the UZO, it's got this other scale, then as soon as I touch the mouse wheel it goes to the larger magnification with the simpler scale and I can't find a way to get back to the other mag. Is there a way to toggle between the two or is it just a graphic bug. Danke.

the UZO thing is a game bug that happens every so often

To ensure no other uboats use your name you have to edit the files in \data\RadioMessages

Be warned: there are a lot of folders and files in that folder as they cover the date ranges from 1938 to 1945
