Need a little advice: The wake sound bug

Since I changes my sound card from onboard device to a sound blaster Xtreme, the famous "wake audible when inside the boat" bug came up again, at least after pausing the game while submerged. I know this has been discussed a few years ago, anyone found a solution in the meantime?

If you mean that you can hear the exterior weather/ocean noises while inside the boat (as through you were still topside), as far as I know the only known solution is to save your game, exit, and reload.

thats some good advice. but if i remember correctly saving then shutting the game down and coming back you lose all the tonnage you had while on patrol.

Relax it's a complete nonsence :haha: If you have exterior sound inside the u-boat (after say alt+tabing), you can try to decrease hardware acceleration of your sound card one step, and see if it helps after the next load + alt tabbing
