NewUIs TDC 6_3_7 by DarkWraith
First of all, there is no New UI its the same old UI as before(stock, vanilla version).
Also many keys don't work, or stop working once I reload a save game?
Could the problem be with some kind of order of mod installation?
Thanks.
Trevally.

Lite campaign 1.2
Hi Big Jim and welcome to subsim:salute:
The above mod will not work with OHII - sorry
Open Horizons II base v1.5
Open Horizons II enviro v1.5
Open Horizons II New Ships v1.5
These should not be together - pick base+environ or base+ships
If you want them all - use the "Full" version

Look at post one of TDWs UI page and you will see the new version is 6.9.0
It sounds like you have not istalled the mod correctly, see here for demo http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=181538
@ BigJimMcHoss! Welcome to SubSim, :salute:

Thanks Trevally and Vendor. I'll try those things.
Thanks for the quick reply.
Too bad there wasn't some kind of program that either put mods in order or told you what mods work with what etc.
:salute:
Darkwraith should try updating his download page, because in downloads the 6.3.7 is the only one it displays.

Although by searching thru a bunch of forum postings, I found a more up to date download?

Well beside the mod problem I'm having, the
Ubisoft game launcher doesn't work right on my computer, it can't remember that I'm in Offline mode and keeps asking for internet connection again!
I restarted a new campaign retrying the new mods order, but there were alot of buttons missing this time, including no way to fire a torpedo!
I'll have to retry a new order.
Here is my new order I'm going to try.

That order doesn't look right to me. Check out other peoples' mod orders, like sober's or take a look at the thread about mod loadouts. Just search the forum a little.

According to TDW; Sober has his mods installed in the wrong order.
TDW"This mod is fully compatible with my UIs mod. You have to install my UIs mod first then install IRAI and then the add-on mod for no hydrophone on surface if you want that. Say yes to all JSGME warnings."
He's got his IRAI installed before his UI?
What mods are you refering to?
I think I'm going to have to uninstall everything and then reinstall everything again.

Sorry - I do not know this mod, so can't help with where it goes.

Oh well I guess TDW's instructions are incorrect.
I'm going to uninstall SH5 and Ubisoft launcher and reinstall everything in the order you mentioned and try that.
Thanks Trevally.

Well I reinstalled SH5, ubilauncher, mods etc.
It still requires internet connection. I wish they provided a config file instead.
Well the campaign seems ok so far.
I'm trying to decipher how to install TDW UI now.
His instructions leave a lot of important information out I noticed, like copying *.dds files and such. And how to install the options editor.
I may just wait 2 years and come back, hopefully by then there will be a patch for SH5.

which parts of the TDW UI are you trying to install? (from inside the main folder)

I'm just trying to do some basic install.
It seems it doesn't automatically install according to the long instruction list, so I'm trying to get it to work. So far, there is no difference between TDW Ui and basic vanilla UI that I can see.
I wish it had dials like SH4 and hotkeys to "man deck gun" automatically instead of running around the sub manually doing everything myself.

I'm just trying to do some basic install.
It seems it doesn't automatically install according to the long instruction list. Forgive me if I am being
condescending, but it does sound like you might have made the same mistake as me. I didn't realise that there are 12 separate mods inside the folder called MODS that sits inside the initial folder called NewUIs_TDC_6_9_0_ByTheDarkWraith.
So to start off, extract all 12 mods from that folder to your MODS folder in your SH5 game folder. Then enable the ones you want to try with JSGME.
Best to try the game with one at a time, if it works try the next.

I reread everthing and copied the 12 mods folders after installing the mod(don't ask me why he didn't just have a button that says "Install"?)
Anyways, I installed a few of the 12, so far it looks exactly the same as vanilla SH5 except some of the map tools look different. The attack periscope has no dials, the same as vanilla SH5.
So, I'm going to see if there is another simpler mod for the old style dials.

I'm on my second patrol.
Its working now. I don't know excatly why.
I uninstalled TDW UI.
Then reinstalled TDW UI and also installed
TDC graphics by Naight and it all seems to work now. All sorts of new buttons and dials.
The only problem is when I reload a save game I'm outside the sub on the lookout.
As long as I don't drown I guess its ok.
If I press next camera, outside camera etc about 3 times then inside camera it takes me back inside.
Thanks everybody.
