Keep the mobile missile launcher. If Medvedev dispatches his elite kick-boxing cheerleading squad we'll talk. :D

When they say target they mean aim at it but not shoot at it right ??:o

Just find it's position, input the coordinates in some missiles and bombing plans and wait. I sure hope so

Technology allows many solutions in the field in this case, however, Medvedev's moves can be seen in many ways.

Well considering I grew up during the time when those same missiles were trained on the airport 5 miles from my house, I find it much easier to sleep tonight.

Back to cold war thrill.

I believe people will only unite in global world if we had a general enemy - like evil aliens-invaders or something =]

Untill then, we keep searching for enemies among ourselfs.

I think not, times and conditions change all the time, so to go back to the cold war days, according to me is an utopia.

Pfft, they'd target them even if they did have an agreement.

Much better asking Putin what he has in mind....not the figurehead.

Well, as almost always with Russia (and Putin/Medvedev on foreign policy), one big thing to keep in mind: this show is mostly for an internal audience. That is, this really isn't about the West and Russia isn't really interested in stirring up trouble - only keeping NATO at safe distance. What this is really about, though, is making the current government look big, tough and able to stand up to the pesky Americans at home. With the (supposedly, but not really) more assertive muscle-man Putin about to be voted back into power, the ruling party has an image to keep up. So this is a good time to remind the domestic audience about it.

Otherwise I really wouldn't take this as an actual threat or even a threat at all; the message is not one really meant for your consumption - and yes, you can be sure that whatever they say, the missiles were probably pointed there from day 1.
