View Full Version : Mod compatibility (UIs, IRAI, FX Update)

Been away from the game for a while. I've downloaded all the updated versions of the mods that matter. I have two questions...

1. What is the correct install order for TDW UIs, FX Update and IRAI?
2. Is UHS (Historical Uboat specifications) still necessary and if so, where should it fall in the install order?

I think popular opinion and the way i have installed is
fx update
irai
irai update
tdw ui mod

leave the irai difficulty parameters for non merchants and merchants as they are . IE dont change them .

I dont use UHS

Thanks guys. I guess there is some disagreement on this. Orpheus' post says to do it in this order...

IRAI
FX Update
New UIs with TDC.

So, I guess I'll just pick one way and hope it works. THanks

As the three TDW Mods are only conflicting with the UBoot_Sensors.sim and NewUI and FX_Update with the UBoot_Sensors.fx and UBoot_Sensors.GR2 files in addition it shouldn't matter if you install in order
IRAI FX_Update NewUI
or
FX_Update IRAI NewUI
as long as you install NewUI as last of those three Mods.
The UBoot_sensors.sim and UBoot_Sensors.fx files in the NewUI Mod are at least regarding the file creation date the newest ones.

The good news is JSGME. You can install them one way, and if it doesn't work you can pull them out and try another. Then you can tell everyone else what worked for you! :sunny:
