Hey everyone,

I know threads of this sort always come across a bit clumsy or even lazy, but even with this in mind and after several hours of searching I decided to give it a try and ask you guys. Being pretty busy in my RL, I didn't have much time to actually play SH3 until recently. Thinking of the active community in these forums, I've probably lost track of all the mods and the new versions etc.
To add to my misfortune, Murphy and his painfully true laws seem to have been all over me during the last couple weeks. I experienced the famous "What can go wrong, will go wrong." when I lost two HDDs in one week - one of them being the one that had my mod collections for SH3 and SH4 on it. :damn:

In SH3, I've always played GWX and had quite a huge list of mods that enhanced GWX even further, however this is now gone. I used to have the Widescreen MaGui installed, along with other mods that added lively sub pens similar to WAC and stuff like Das Boot sound mods etc.

The sheer mass of mods is rather overwhelming when you have to rebuild everything from zero. To help my memory a bit - which mods would you recommend to use together with GWX in order to have a proper and up-to-date SH3 again?

Hope you had a nice weekend and will have a good next week,

Hess

I usually like to suggest this thread as a good starting point:

It provides a good overview of many of the best mods, (complete with in-game screens), so you can pick and choose what you'd like to include. :sunny:
