hi all is there some one working on new compartments mods for the us subs in SH4? like in SH3 they look good. [i dont have the time to do them myshelf.]

I remember someone working on this...maybe a year or so ago. Incredible detail in the engine compartment for example, if I am not mistaken the work focussed on a German sub?

You're thinking of Tomi's Type II interior, which started from the torpedo room and went to the engine room. Ducimus adapted FlakMonkey's New Interior for the SH3 Type VII to work with his SH4 Type IX. The work done so far shows that it can be made to happen, but there is nothing set for release any time soon.

He mentioned "like in SH3", so I figured differently. You could be right though.

I got the impression that he had his project 75% finished. It would be a shame if it all went for naught.

Yeah. This disappoints me. There was some great screenshots posted somewhere around here that showed alot of promise. :(
