People here have been focusing on all the unimportant stuff like the economy, politics, and international relations.
This has blinded everyone from the real threat. Perhaps the Mayan's were right after all. Civilization will end in 2012. The threat has been creeping up on us like an insidious cancer that will rip this culture asunder! Asunder I say!! :stare:
4 April 2012. Mark your calenders. It will mark the darkest of all dark ages. An abomination upon humanity itself will be unleashed. It may already be too late. For all that is holy for you, protect the children!!!
The Three Stooges Movie. :nope:
Will Sasso as Curly
Sean Hayes as Larry
Chris Diamantopoulos as Moe
Why would anyone think that trying a remake of the Three Stooges is a good idea in 2012.
1. If they keep the characters and the comedy like the original, I really doubt the comedy will scale successfully to the 21st century
2. If they "update" the characters it will be an abomination on humanity.
It gets worse. Evidently, one of the supporting case is something called a "Snookie" :wah:
I don't know exactly what a "Snookie" is but it probably doesn't bode well.
I am a big Three Stooges Fan. I collect their short films and I really enjoy their brand of comedy. But I also recognize that their type of comedy is from another era. Things they did were funny in the context of their time.

Here is the plot from IMBD.com.
While trying to save their childhood orphanage, Moe, Larry, and Curly inadvertently stumble into a murder plot and wind up starring in a reality TV show.Could this suck more? :nope:
There are so many other old comedy teams that could scale to the 21st century. Laural and Hardy, Marx Brothers, Ritz Brothers, and the Slate Brothers could all be scaled to the 21st century (OK maybe not the Slate Brothers. :D)
Sad times indeed.
Arrrg typo in the title. Can a mod correct my fat fingering?
