Hello Kaleuns!
I am messing with depth charges properties, but I need some help figuring out how to make them deadlier.
I already know how to increase or decrease explosive power, radius, damge etc. But I need help to make them much more precise. I remember the good old days when, in SH3, enemy destroyers could lay down tons of depth chages on my U boat with surgical precision, even down to 160m.
In SH5 they always miss me by more than 10-20 meters.
How can I improve the precision of enemy destroyers and the depth at which they can hit me?
I found theese values in the DC_barrels.sim file
detonate_depth = this should be the detonating depth of DCs, but the value is 25 for both types. I guess it works differently, because DCs actually explode various depths as logical.
depth_precison = should make them explode more precise (or less) in respect of their detonation depth (above value). It's basically the sensibility of the hydrostatic fuze.
What else can I do to make them deadlier?
Any help/siggestion is welcome..
Thank you!
