New to SHIII mods

This has probably been asked before but I am new to SHIII mods. I have downloaded lots of SHIV mods without problem.

I downloaded the NYGM mod (think I have the initials right) and using both 7-zip and WinRAR - when I tried to unzip the downloads - nothing was allowed - got error messages.

I am on Windows 7 Home and believe this is one of those deals where the computer wants me to be the "administrator". I am the only user of the computer and the only one listed.

Any help would be appreciated.

If it is an 'administrator' issue, you can bypass by right clicking on the WinRAR shortcut (or .exe) and then select 'Run as Administrator.'

Another possibility is a corrupt file, in which case you can select the 'Keep broken files' box in WinRAR. This allows the operation to complete so you can get a good look at any error messages.

If it does turn out to be a corrupt file, you can try downloading it again from another source:

Fish is right; download file is bad. Do not install anything in the program folders or your life will be full of grief.

I will complete the download again just to be safe.

Using W7 download into the x86 folder or even better, create a separate games folder.
