I may or may not have asked this before but is there a way to make the U-boats subsystems invulnerable to damage?

I'm not sure I'd go so far as to say 'invulnerable,' but there are a few things you can adjust to reduce damage considerably.

If you use the S3D editor and open: SH3\data\Submarine\NSS_Uboat[xx]\NSS_Uboat[xx].zon (insert your type in the xx), you can adjust ArmorLevel and Hit_Points in node 27.

This should help considerably in getting you where you want to go. Good luck and have fun! :sunny:

Is their ant way you could help me understand the mechanics of the zon file. And point me in the right direction on wich parts of node 27 to edit(theirs is over 81 tiny bits in it and I haven't the slightes clue where to start).

I don''t sink or get killed as I have edited the aformention Collison objects node to make the hull invincibal, but the subsystems(i.e. Periscope, deck gun, torpeado tubes) still get damaged. And I am growing tired of encontering a convoy and have all the ecorts blow my subsystems away. Also will on the subject of invuneralbility is ther a way to make the crew imortal?
