It is seems like SH3 mods are even worse condition than SH5 in working togerther.

at least at my condition.

SOME QUESTION IN PUZZLE

1.is that ture SH5 only play in VII style (THE MAIN REASON GO BACK TO sh3)?

2.CTD when these mod works, so that is the problem of GWX or SH3

2days test under 2 systems WIN 7 64 ultimate sp1 and WIN XP SP3 PRO

CTD ALWAYS AT LAST MONENT OF LOADING COMPAIGN SAVE

BUT these would be fine when it is only load in GWX-option mod

:damn::damn::damn:

ANYONE HELP sos

maybe that would be hard to explain why MY SH3 works fine under only GWX mod

thats exactly what happens if you dont got the 4 gb patch either. I recommend doing that and if you dont have the 3gb ini. fix i recommend that too.

I would think that M.E.Pv3 VisualSensors-GWX3 should be loaded after M.E.P v3 and M.E.P v3-Patch (although I doubt that this would cause your CTD). As to that, I vote for MFM-Interim-Beta as well. Remove it and see what happens.

How do you know he has those 4 GB physically in his rig ? :)

4GB of physical memory is not required to benifit from the 4GB patch. As I understand it, the patch allows programs to access more than 2GB of virtual memory. If MFM is the culprit, this patch is the first thing I would try.

My guess is the MFM.:hmmm:

:yep:
MFM is a bitch unless you've got a decent rig to play it on - it causes CTD's every time on my computer.

He has MFM.Interim Beta....light version of MFM

4 gb patch has absolutely nothing to do with how much ram you have rather how much ram the program you give 4 gb fix to the ability to access "up" to 4 gb of ram. Old hard-coded games from years ago were only allocated for 2 gb as that was the status quo then, but as technology improved as everyone knows more gb's became more prevalent the need to change the programs default ram access path is necessary.

Hope that helps :yeah:

If you need to know how to do the boot.ini fix for the 3 gb fix here it is and as always research before making any changes to your computer, its your computer and any fixes you make to it are at your discretion and your ultimate consequence.

Advanced users may know that the virtual address space of processes and applications is still limited to 2 GB unless the /3GB switch is used in the Boot.ini file. When the physical RAM in the system exceeds 16 GB and the /3GB switch is used, the operating system will ignore the additional RAM until the /3GB switch is removed. This is because of the increased size of the kernel required to support more Page Table Entries.
Note: Only applications that use IMAGE_FILE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE in the process header can take advantage of this functionality.

Enable the 3GB switch on Windows XP

Right-click My Computer. Click Properties.
In the System Properties dialog box, click the Advanced tab.
On the Advanced tab, under Startup and Recovery, click Settings.
In the Startup and Recovery dialog box, under System startup, click Edit. The Windows boot.ini file will be opened in Microsoft® Notepad.
Create a backup copy of the boot.ini file. Note: Boot.ini files may vary from computer to computer.
Select the following line in the boot.ini file:

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Micro soft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect

Press Ctrl+C to copy the line and then press Ctrl+V to paste it immediately below the original line.
Note: Your text string may be different from the text string in this solution, so be sure to copy the text string from your boot.ini file, and not the text string included here.
Modify the copied line to include ***8220; /3GB***8221;, as shown in the following example:

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Micro soft Windows XP Professional 3GB" /3GB /fastdetect
Note: Do not overwrite any existing lines.

Save and close the boot.ini file.
Click OK to close each dialog box.
Restart your computer.
During startup, select the 3GB option. If you do not select the 3GB option, the system will default to the 2GB total memory setting.

Note: If problems occur during startup, you may need to update some of your drivers.

Enable the 3GB switch on Windows Vista
***;Right-click Command Prompt in the Accessories program group of the Start menu. Click Run as Administrator.
***;At the command prompt, enter "bcdedit /set IncreaseUserVa 3072"
***;Restart the computer.
Disable the 3GB switch on Windows Vista
***;Right-click on Command Prompt in the Accessories program group of the Start menu. Click Run as Administrator.
***;At the command prompt, enter "bcdedit /deletevalue IncreaseUserVa"
***;Restart the computer.
For more information on the 3GB switch, refer to the following Microsoft MSDN article:
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms791558.aspx

Please note that only skilled Administrators or personnel should perform the above stated procedure. I cannot be held responsible for any problems occurring on your machine/s as a result of the afore stated.
As always, thorough research of the content and it's impact is highly recommended before proceeding.

Thank you.

i recommend deleting the install and downloading the bin files from JIMBUNA under his signature you will find bins that are not corrupted. Then reinstall. Have you enabled the 4gb patch?
