Im installing GWX in one instance and LSH in the other one (still havent decided about NYGM) but its been a long time since i last read this forum for the mods, now its 2011, which mods are must have to add to these 2 megamods???

im currently just planning for GWX + SH Commander + OLC Gold, anything else thats a must have?

what about LSH 5.1? anything that has to be considered?

The good ole days of lurking around and downloading a ton of mods is over.

This has been posted in threads you can read and get an understanding.

You can d\l a few in a 24 hr period. You now have to become a little more active in posting to loosen up the D\L priledges.

Donateing to SubSim has Nothing to do with it and changes Nothing.

Get involved with the Community by posting in the Topics that interest you.

This applies to all. The comeing in and Raiding the Downloads Section is over for all even. "Ole Timers" :haha:

So enjoy and get aquanted and take the time to see what SubSim has to offer.

The patch contains two submods: O2 Gauges and Supplement to V15G2.

GWX - Merged Campaign Wilhelmshaven V6: I use the Wilhelmshaven v6, the last version. If you download this mod, there is a folder with diverse campaign files, for normal and merged campaign, and others. This merged campaign v6 add the scripted ships in Wilhelmshaven to GWX Merged Campaign. If you don´t use this mod, simply you don´t have the scripted additional ships in Wilhelmshaven v6.

Wolfhunter Skin: this excellent skin by Wolfhunter there are in the Maiks (Plissken) Pages:

Woo, i think im gonna replicate fitz's list, many of the mods ive read and interested me are in his list, time to collect em, and indeed, its hell to download stuff, almost everything is dead, but theres a FTP around from Maiks, its full of stuff, sadly its a pain to browse it since the folders have the mod creator's names not the mod names themselves.

Thanks guys, im sick of playing everything i have, so i got FSX, Call of Pripyat with some mods, SH 3-4-5 and im gonna start wasting time in fun stuff =D:D

get the 4gb patch and also you need to activate 3 gb switch here are directions

Advanced users may know that the virtual address space of processes and applications is still limited to 2 GB unless the /3GB switch is used in the Boot.ini file. When the physical RAM in the system exceeds 16 GB and the /3GB switch is used, the operating system will ignore the additional RAM until the /3GB switch is removed. This is because of the increased size of the kernel required to support more Page Table Entries.
Note: Only applications that use IMAGE_FILE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE in the process header can take advantage of this functionality.
Enable the 3GB switch on Windows XP

Right-click My Computer. Click Properties.
In the System Properties dialog box, click the Advanced tab.
On the Advanced tab, under Startup and Recovery, click Settings.
In the Startup and Recovery dialog box, under System startup, click Edit. The Windows boot.ini file will be opened in Microsoft® Notepad.
Create a backup copy of the boot.ini file. Note: Boot.ini files may vary from computer to computer.
Select the following line in the boot.ini file:
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect


Press Ctrl+C to copy the line and then press Ctrl+V to paste it immediately below the original line.
Note: Your text string may be different from the text string in this solution, so be sure to copy the text string from your boot.ini file, and not the text string included here.
Modify the copied line to include “ /3GB”, as shown in the following example:
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional 3GB" /3GB /fastdetect
Note: Do not overwrite any existing lines.


Save and close the boot.ini file.
Click OK to close each dialog box.
Restart your computer.
During startup, select the 3GB option. If you do not select the 3GB option, the system will default to the 2GB total memory setting.
Note: If problems occur during startup, you may need to update some of your drivers.
Enable the 3GB switch on Windows Vista

Right-click Command Prompt in the Accessories program group of the Start menu. Click Run as Administrator.
At the command prompt, enter "bcdedit /set IncreaseUserVa 3072"
Restart the computer.
Disable the 3GB switch on Windows Vista

Right-click on Command Prompt in the Accessories program group of the Start menu. Click Run as Administrator.
At the command prompt, enter "bcdedit /deletevalue IncreaseUserVa"
Restart the computer.

this should get everything working ram wise then you can see if you can even run it

"Urfischs ModStrike", a collection of many mods ive created for sh3, is a must, too. Get a nice menu, better fx, real beh 7x50 binocs and some other gimmicks, like fire in the command room when beeing hit.

But some things of it are already in "Aces Super Turms".

Indeed, sh3 has gone far beyond what we thought is possible in 2005. To me, its the best subsim you can play, if you want atmosphere and deep gameplay.

Indeed, sh3 has gone far beyond what we thought is possible in 2005. To me, its the best subsim you can play, if you want atmosphere and deep gameplay.

I like the mod, but I had to "purge" some graphics items, because I use WS monitor. I like (and want) a version for Widescreen! Or compatible with MaGUI 3.4 for WS.
