Manual range input?

Hi, i've installed MO / UI / OH11 and a few others. I've just come up against my first enemy ship and went to set the torpedo.

I always use manual targeting and previously when i was playing SH5 i would set the AOB / Range / Speed manually by turning the dials and hitting the "send to TDC button".

However, it seems i cant set the range, because the "Send button" activated the stadimeter?? and simply dialing the range without sending to TDC won't work?

I dont mind using the stadimeter, but my option to send mast height is disabled?
