Down Periscope USS Stringray SS-161 skin

I have been asked for my USS STRINGRAY SS-161 skin from the movie Down Periscope. Since the reinstall of SH4. I lost the folder. Fortunately I found the texture files in a bmp format that I have to convert to dds files to be functional in the game. I also have to use S3D to change some nodes for water discharge holes on this skin. I made the holes in the hull match the USS Pampanito SS-383 as this is the Submarine that was used in the movie as the USS Stringray SS-161. In the following image you can see the round discharge holes I made for the skin in use.

Unfortunately I lost the file that had the work that I had done to replicate the look behind the drive plane.:damn: So I will have to redo this.

I have redone my USS Stingray SS -161 skin. I took the skin Seawolf made and combine the elements from my skin to give it the most accurate details I can so far. In my original skin I pain stakenly make the cut out match the USS Pampantino SS -363 's hull cut outs, as that was the Submarine used in the movie for the USS Stingray SS-161. I will post pics tonight atfer I get off work. I will also will also remaking the Operation Petticoat skin again. If anyone has a site where I could upload them so all can enjoy it would be greatly appreciated thank you much.

A fine job! Could you upload that puppy to Subsim so everyone can enjoy it without the file's home being turned into some place that hawks.....what the heck are they hawking, anyway? Movie and game reviews? The Escapist is what it is called now. May they be hit by a large meteor and vaporized!:rock:

Before picture, realized hull cutouts seemed a little flat.

After adding light entering hull cut out to give 3d look. Note changing angle of light will not change shadow, merely cosmetic affect to skin to give illusion of depth to hull cut outs. See below.
