I have added a full compliment AA suit to it, that is from what I found sorta like Germany would have had on it had the ship been built. It is also almost invincible like the plans called for (if you dont like it edit the NBB_H-44_OM.sim file)
I also did some crew editing to attempt better accuracy at long ranges without the AI hitting you pin point from 48000 with a 4inch....
Yes this requires Operation Monsun to work unless you edit it.
Otherwise enjoy sailing in a what is the worlds biggest strongest battleship!
Oh the main turrets are black, not my area, they go boom and things sink :D

I have been working on the H-44 to port it to the american side
Almost ready i also tried it with your weaponry
2 problems i've noticed they get destroyed very easily, which file is related to your weapons widowmaker so i can take a look at it?
It's a real show when they fire at the same time :)
i made a workaround so the cannons are no longer black
removed the aft plane
and also replaced the flag with a us

ISD still sinking. If I canīt find a fix I will have to abandon the ISD.

Hard to explain i'll upload the files i changed soon and then you can use it.
It's changed in the dat files
The problem is that the cannons have no texture, and when i remove the default texture it uses the main skin of the ship.
The texture of one cannon is actually the texture of the entire ship
So if i would write uss new york on the side of it's hull you will find it in the turrets :)

Its a tedious process. I actually have a version where there are not black, but its like Marka said, they just copied the ships hull colors for the turrets and barrels on mine. I also moved the turret camera up so its usable. I can try to upload that file if you want, or you can wait for Marka or Karle to fix it.

v1.1 is up on mediafire link only. I did some of Markas changes from his USA version, so turrets are not black but are a conglomeration of the entire hull colors. Credit again Karle94 and Marka Ragnos for their respective developments.

All these ships can be used with operation monsun mod ( 705 + 705 to 720 + 720 patch5)
if you receive a message "cannot comply" when you try to go forward or backward don't worry, simply restart the mission and before clicking on giant wall map to start mission just click on little submarine model placed on the desk and add crew members , at least one for every field

Instead of making another thread, I added files to Mediafire.
Again a refit of Karle94 H-44 improved AA guns so nothing should get near you, and no black turrets but they have messed up textures.
The Yamato is a conversion to Operation Monsun whoever originally made it gets credit I just modded it.

I have not done anything lately. School and work is keeping me busy. I am also going through some modding rehab, and you are all included too. Itīs not that long until I get military service so I will be unavailable for one whole year, at least. Unless I donīt enlist afterwards, which is my plan.

Because there is one controller for every barrel. Which means that only one can be used by the player.

Might get more and more used to you not, but I will still miss it. Perhaps whilst in the navy, more knowledge will be gained to help in life. Or at least see some of the world!

I got the hipper works perfectly! but one problem:
All 3 of the AI guns are black the only one with normal colour is the one that is playable!

I have a little problem with the missiles on modern surface ships, they go to target, then when are in target proximity they come back, you now something about this or i do something wrong?

They home in on the target, once they get close they start to zig-zag, can`t be helped. The faster they go, the more they zig-zag. Finished service? I haven`t even started it. I join the navy on January 5th.

Hey Karle94. I've been playing your H-39 class for OM and while an excellent mod there are a couple of things that would make it better. First off the fuel range is insane for a BB. I can understand giving it the range of the Type IX U-Boats but giving it a range of over 27000 kilometers at max speed is a bit ridiculous. The other thing is the 15 cm gun's wont fire at other ships. In fact they don't seem to do anything at all. If you could fix that it would be great. Other then those two things it is an excellent mod and one of the better if not the best BB mod for any version of SH4.(Plus it's the only one that actually seems to take damage instead of either surviving every hit or suddenly exploding into a fireball with 100% damage without warning.)

As for the guns on the H-39, if you download the precious version and replace the guns with the older files they will work, but the 10,5 cm guns will not fire on aircraft anymore. The H-39 would have had a range of 35,600 km, or 19200 miles at 19 kts, remember that she would have been diesel powered, not oil.

Thanks mate. Oh and I don't know what you did but your mod makes OMEGU stop being crash happy for which I can't thank you enough.

Welcome aboard. And wow. People still post stuff in this thread? Anyway, are you sure you have a crew for the gun? If not, that might answer your problem. If you have the newest version of the mod, there should be no problems.

I feel like a total noob right now lol, problem solved :D thx Karle...buut.. i have a question, i was playing normally and confronted a medium taskforce composed of some DD's, a CV and a CA, sank em all with aparently minor damage, hull intact, but at some point of traveling the ship inexplicably started to sink, the only damage was a burning flak, what's up with that?

I still have an issue with the P class. No matter what year I start, the turrets are never on the ship, save for the A turret.

To add the smoke, open the NBB_Aslace.dat and add a F node, then add a controler node with the particle sprite for funnel smoke, can be found by looking at other ship's .dat files. The .dat file can be opened with S3D in case you did not know.
What kind of work isrequired to get these ships into the campaign for the AI to use?
You will have to open the file that controls convoys and task forces and add the ships manually into already existing ones, or create new ones. This can also be done with the Mission Creator, although it is slightly more complex as you will have to add it to the task force leader group, or plot its course and speed outside of the task force group.

I never made the PepsiCola a playable ship, only as an AI controlled ship. She would not make a good convoy raider, as any 76mm-127mm gun in the game would sink you in an instant.

Would it take a considerable amount of effort to make it playable? Is it possible for you to walk me through it? Despite the sheer lack of armor, I still would like to have a PepsiCola available for play. And if there were any other ships that needed porting over to be available for play, as long as it didn't require some measure of coding, I'd be willing to help.
EDIT: Oh by the way, I was using your G3 BattleCruiser and the turrets were black and texture-less, I was reading that there was a solution for that further back in the thread, but didn't understand what to do.

Only just found this thread, first let me say a big thank you to you Karl for your hard work on these ships.
One of my favourite things in SH4 is playing as a ship, I downloaded your ships and had a quick go with some of them, you are a genius mate.
I have downloaded some other 'Playable ships' bit they are not 'Human playable' I keep trying to convert them but not yet hitting the nail on the head.
I did ask on another thread but the only reply was to copy the format from a Human playable which I did but I'm obviously missing something.
