Hi all,

trying to find out about the error message "missing terrain mission.dll" I read somewhere that the Microsoft update for Win7 on 6/14/2011 makes some changes that are not compatible with Sh5, meaning itīs more likely to crash and - I donīt know if that is true! - a new installation wonīt work after the update. Can anyone confirm?

Cheers, AS

Can't confirm but I haven't bothered to update windows 7 since installing it, I turned off updates permanently. That was months ago.
Running SH5 on windows 7 fine (no service pack 1 either). I wouldn't be all that surprise though if a 7 update has mess up your sh5 install.

I've be very interested in more info on this, as I'm on Win7 64 and despite everything I still get the occasional CTD.

I wish it was only occasional, I get CTD once an hour or so. Drives me mad!

Windows 7 64 with updates, cannot update video drivers too soon as the game then doesn't run. :nope:
