Hey folks,I am trying to make a high realism feel to SH3 by upping the danger.Its all going well with stumbling blocks here and there.The latest is that I had my whole deck destroyed including 2 scopes and the radar.I can't really believe that they did not carry a spare radio antenna or spare scope parts though the scope could be a bit harder to fix without machinist tools.Also the game let me on to the "destroyed" deck but didn't allow any of my crew and I do not want to stand on deck as the only lookout for the 3 week trip back to port at <32TC:haha:

I figure allowing one scope to be destroyed is harsh enough.The radar can stay as destroyed but I really need to remove the destroyed condition from the actual deck.Anyone know where the file is for this,would be greatly appreciated and save me hours of searching.:up:

I think to repair a periscope it had to be completely removed from the boat. I could be wrong though.

Your probably correct,also depends on what gets broken.I changed the AI stats from 0.5 to 1.0....they were 3.0 before.A bit less accurate with the cannons since they are highly destructive and they take some fiddling with while aiming to get on target of a small conning tower at range.The only thing is now I rarely get hit when before I actually would feel tense hoping no damage is taken.It adds real feel that I just may put it back and just make one scope able to be destoyed.

If anyone who knows the location of where the "able to be destroyed" check boxes are I will greatly appreciate it.
