Smoke on the horizon?

I wondered if there was a good mod out there to show better/more smoke from the convois/ships?

Sorry Fish but, this mod while great and should also be gotten has NOTHING to do with what OP is asking for.

It's a better smoke mod. Will come back and edit with link.

Edit: After 5 pages on the Search and alot of dead links sorry, no luck. I have it on my SH3\GWX 3.0 install and have on 3 occasions by luck was on the bridge and saw smoke thru binocs before crew. They didn't report "ship spotted" until I could make out the ship. It works as advertised.

I have it burned to cd with all SH3\GWX 3.0 Compatable mods. And will have to dig it out. I will only upload it if Neal agrees to put it in New Download section. There is a very good reason for this. :yep:

I would hate to have to go thru about 8 cd's to find that mod and find out someone in the meantime posted it. :cry: That's my kinda luck.

Also trying to get the MFM to work but no luck.. Might have something to do with patching as I have 3GB ram. Ive tried the patch as described but unsure wether ive done it right..

In short I have found some fantastic mods out there but they are VERY difficult to find. An idea for a seperate room or something? or am I missing something..?
I found a comprehensive list/collection by MAIK? but it is catalogged by developer name and not what the mod is for so its just another haystack to search..

Back to topic :D Smoke over the Horizon type mod.

Any one out there have it handy ?

The "Unofficial" GWX 20km Atmosphere makes the ships "sink" below the horizon leaving only their smoke above the horizon. I use it and it seems to work pretty well.
For some reason, I can't find it with a search though. Must be getting old like all you other old farts. :O:

I also believe some of OLC's mods do that as well.

The 'SH5 Water For SH3' mod has a 20km limit, and often when I hear "Ship spotted" I look and see nothing but smoke.
