I have noticed that i lose all sonar sound when operating the sonar myself sometimes.....I have installed both sonar fixes so I know theres a target there but there's no sound of the contact.
I have also seen other people posting that they cant always detect contacts manually that their sonar operator can (and vice versa)..perhaps the two things are linked?
My current mod soup follows....SH5.exe patches 1, 2 and 3 all applied

It may have something to do with my sound mod order...i was trying to eliminate a couple of annoying english commands while retaining the majority of DBSM sounds and the excellent env sounds in dynamic env?
