Such historical episodes are added:
- Operation against Norway from April, 13 - till June, 10. 1940. The most important and bright part the mod U-Boat War . There is no sense to describe all episodes of battle for Norway, so it is a lot of books, memoirs, documentary films describe fighting of allies with German submarines. You need to know only one thing, on April, 13 the English ships come into a fiord to Narvik and sink German destroyers and the ships of intrusion in Narvik.
- Dunkirk Operation "Dynamo" May - June. 1940.
- Battle for Britain the first phase. Luftwaffe actions in La Manche and strikes to England 1940-1941.
- Mediterranean confrontation December 1941 - 1943 Where are included not only sea battles but also Battle for Malta , Fight of Convoys , "Harpoon" (on June, 13-14 1942), "Pedestal" (on August, 11-13 1942), "Torch" (on November, 8 1942), "Vigeres" (on June, 14-16 1942), "Hercules" and less known operations of the countries of the Axis and the Great Britain. A mining of port Alexandria by planes " FW-200 Condor ". Ships guiding by English seamen to the surrounded Tobruk, at night along coast of Africa. I'd like to underline the fact that Italians having the superiority in the linear ships and strategic advantage could not destroy Malta as naval base and to protect the convoys going to Northern Africa. Only genius of German general Rommel for a long time constrained Italians from crash even since 1941.
- Husky on July, 11 1943 landing of allies to Sicily.
- Blockade of Sevastopol Black sea. 1941-1942.
- Fight for Atlantic 1939 - 1945. Mistakes in dates and structures of convoys are corrected. Besides, movements of battleships of both partys have been entered. For example, sinking of aircraft carrier "Couragous" or the statement of German submariners about sinking legendary Ark Royal about three times before its real destruction in Mediterranean sea. Puts out and raids of German breakers of blockade "Penguin", "Atlantis". Operations of ships "Tirpitz", "Admiral Sheer", heavy cruiser "Hipper" and Luftwaffe planes against the allied convoys following from Iceland to Murmansk and back (PQ, QP).
In the autumn 1942 Britain faced an oil "hunger", it was rather critical situation. From the Caribbean area to England OT convoys were formed, with six high-speed tankers in group, surprisingly that the first convoy was intercepted by German submarines and had a huge losses. Further, Germans didn't intercept tankers regulary.
"Gondola" from 6 - till February, 15 1943---1062;. Strikes of 480-th airgroup of the American Air Forces on German bases of submarines basing in France. This group made 218 flights to bay of Biscay.

Now with your mod sail in a convoy the ships with different flags?
Just a quick note: tankers should carry only fuel, not tanks and ammunitions nor crates.

but to be honnest... this, all togather, is getting too confusing and chaotic - at least to us - who just want to download and apply.:doh:
So many great mods... but inter-crossing each other, without being compiled and sorted in comprehensive mega-modes.
For an average user... working till 5p.m. and having family obligations - it is IMPOSSIBLE to follow what great mod is compatible with other 3 great mods...etc.
People are delighted by new great mods... but after application of great moder's files, they end up - with uninstall of SH5 - and fresh attempt to install/connect this avalanche of mods into some "chronological" order&mix that - does make sense...
We need urgently some convention of leading 5-6 main moders (...or to invent new Kpt.Lehmann)
Sorry for stealing your thread - but this confusion issue is growing day by day!

I uninstalled all mods some time ago, because I found it too difficult and confusing to handle all of them anymore. I found that I spent more time handling mod soup than actually play the game. I have to wait for mega mod.
I imagine for totally newbe SH5 user it is even more confusing (compatibility of various mods being major factor here). One can even scarry by only looking at the mod list.:doh:

Hey guys! Calm down!:timeout: This mod is presented as an example, Travinski offers its help and in fact simply demonstrates their capabilities and skills. No you are not obliged to use a soup of mods.
You ask the modders - when they last played? I have very little do moddering, but I never managed to finish the campaign, and generally play to the full. What can I say about TDW, Zedi and other modders, densely occupied upgrade? They see the game only in parts, in the windows of the editors, utilities and other programs.
So guys try to make their own mods compatible to the extent possible. Another thing is that it is not always possible, different people have different preferences in the interfaces, and this must be considered. And this, again, not always successful. Therefore, soups mods will be inevitable.

I have nothing to comment on skills, my only concern is the language barrier. The mistake with tanks and ammunition on a tanker should be related to a bad interpretation of the word tanker. And mistakes like this can give a great headache when working on such a big stuff like the campaign.

Yes, the tankers turned blunder - Travinski it recognizes. This is a beta version of the mod, he did it to explore the possibilities of the missions editor and capabilities of the game. After that, he became necessary for some time to come back to SH3.
But if Travinski decided all the same take on SH5 it can only rejoice. By combining your efforts you can make an excellent campaign.

This is not a critical error.
One is the issue of export cargo is no fuel tanks, fuel ...

Totally agree with you, that's the second reason why my SH5 disc is still in the shelf from the day I've first and also last played it. The first reason is that the vanilla game is completely unplayable.

I think there has been a note on this already, but is it possible to make a stand alone mod out of this? I can understand the need for additional merchant ships and Open Horizon's campaign, but I can't really add this to my mods if I'm using Dynamic Env mod...

I load the U-boat Ace mod with JSGME 2.6, and followed my blackpit then entered into the Open Horizons.
After I saved and then load the process, CTD. Launch game and load the save file again, CTD.
CTD,CTD,just at the load screen, while the color turn from the Black and white to colorful screen.
How to fix pls?

I just started the open horizon campaign. It loaded ok .
Returning to SH after two years away (unable to play SH3 on vista 64) and trying to catch up with the SH5 modding scene
Is U Boat War Ace compatable with Magnum Opus?
If so what is the load order?

Yes is compatible.
There is only one file problem Zones.cfg can not provide compatibility with different modes
You can delete a file in a fashion Zones.cfg U-Boat War Ace.
I had loaded U boat War Ace followed by MO and am happily patroling the English east Coast.
Just did not want to loose any of the benefits that these mods provide.

Edit.....and thanks for making this mod available
I still have problems of instant sinking with this mod.
I chased a ship, saved... and fired at it with deck gun. With the mod everytime I shoot at it there is a moment when it automatically sink fast going down.. and the worst that ship doesn't count as sinked. As said repeated several times loading that situation.
Without the mod (just uninstalled it) loaded.. and at first time.. perfect... and counted as sinked...
so.. there is something in last version that is making crazy the sinking of boats.
Maybe this can help:
I noticed that without the mod when shooting with crew on the deck gun they stop whe the energy of the ship is over (so after a few minutes it sinks). But with the mod the crew never stops, so maybe because of that the new shootings are passing the limits... don't know...... just a thinking, because is a shame to switch off this mod to make sh5 work propertly.

I've tried several times now to download these two mods from the links given in this thread so far without any luck.
The first link, DepositFiles, after waiting the required 59 seconds, says, in tiny letters, invalid params.
The second link, or "mirror" link, FileFactory, immediately says,
File does not exist". It is either expired or has been deleted by the uploader.
Since I'd really like to get this apparently unavailable file I wonder if anyone might have any ideas for me.

I cant understand what this (superb looking) mod is. I thought this was all already part of OPEN HORIZONS II? Am I Wrong?
