Is there a realistic DC shake mod that shakes the screen or at least better than the rocking you get in standard SH111 that is JSGME compat?
thanks all

Try the DepthChargeShake 2.01 mod. It is in the Plissken/Maik´s pages.

Is that the one that comes after SH110?
Sorry. Bad joke. Couldn't resist.

Yes, I looked at the difference between cameras.dat in DC Shake and widescreen GUI and there is several hours of editing to make the widescreen cameras.dat work the same as DC shake or vice versa. The easiest way would be to strip the DC shake cameras.dat of undesirable content, and strip the widescreen GUI cameras.dat of its nodes of values to be changed. Import the DC Shake cameras.dat into Widescreen GUI cameras.dat then change parent IDs to correct nodes. Name the MOD DC Shake Wide gui fix and enable after. I thought about doing it but don't have time. I like the DC shake mod makes for some quick thinking to get your boat to safety.

I've changed the camera.dat to be combatible with OLC gui and DC shake. There is about 5 room settings to change for the swing of the boat. Will take about 15 minutes to change them when you know where they are.
Need to change certain rooms values in the path:- MechShocksPendulum / CmechPendulum / CElasticPendulum
In there are 3 values.
Elasticity = 1.0
Dumper = 0.7
MaxAngle = 45.0
All you need to do is change 1st two values for certain rooms (about 5 rooms) to:-
Elasticity = 75.0
Dumper = 0.4
MaxAngle = 45.0
Do the changes to your mod gui camera.dat - after backing it up. Then you can discard the DC shake camera.dat.
Using SD3 editor you can open up both the DC shake and your gui camera.dat. Then look in each node in DC shake for the path given and edit the values in the gui camera.dat were the values are Elasticity = 75.0 & Dumper = 0.4.

I checked what rooms needed changing. there is only 4.
24: Dummy Cam InteriorFore
37: MechShocksPendulum
44: Dummy Cam InteriorAft
57: MechShocksPendulum
106: Dummy Cam RadioRoom
119: MechShocksPendulum
336: Dummy Cam ConningTower
341: MechShocksPendulum
You need to change
Elasticity = 1.0
Dumper = 0.7
MaxAngle = 45.0
To
Elasticity = 75.0
Dumper = 0.4
MaxAngle = 45.0
Change the 4 rooms in the node number: MechShocksPendulum in you GUI camera.dat. Then remove DC shake camera.dat before activating it it in JSGME.
You can edit the camera.dat with the SD3 editor by Skwas.
