View Full Version : Sub won't go to periscope depth!

Hi Mates,

My sub will not go to periscope depth, it always goes deeper.

I hit "P" to go to periscope depth more than 2 times and it will not go.

Sometimes the sub will continue down until I blow ballast.

There are no damages reported.

Anyone else have a problem like this?

secondly how are the crew ? What morale condition are they in ?

Sober,

I think the crew are ok....

Do I have to restart the campaign?

The sub will not respond when I try to go up say to 10m.
Somtimes it just stays where it is or goes deeper.

I have the following mods at the end of my mods;

PERI - Periscope_and_antenna_historical_fix 2

I thought you should only have 1 particular version of the depth keeping fix . My mate stoianm would know for sure . What is your full list of mods in order . Go into the mod enabler and click on Tasks/Export activated mods list to/Text file/OK/copy and paste here .

I was having the same issue and that was just in a historical mission and no campaign. Here are the mods i have installed.

If you have new ui 6.5.1 will fix the deep keping problem... for periscop depth i do not know a solution yet... i have this bug since i start to play sh5 (sometimes you must hit 2 times to take the order)

I think some of these mods are a bit dodgy. Played a historical mission yesterday and I used external view to find the British fleet I was supposed to attack and none of them were moving, all were at 0 knots. I've played that mission before I applied any mods and they didn't just sit in the water at zero knots. Keep seeing ships on fire and sinking and can't find any reason for it.
