What does this mod do?

I came across the 'Modified Aircraft Damage' mod.

Anybody know what it does exactly? Does it alter the damage a plane can take? Or the damage it deals? :hmmm:

This looks like a mod that lowers the damage an aircraft can take before it is destroyed.

You'd be suprised how many folk disliked the toughened up aircraft that came with GWX3.0.......at one point we considered softening them a little but eventually decised against it given that an air v sub confrontation was usually one sided.

I can see how a lot of people would dislike it...

Granted it's always a balancing act between realism and gameplay. But in this instance, it's easy for players to feel like they're being forced to crash dive each and every time. Most people would probably like to have an option even if it means sacrificing a bit of reality in order to remove the 'shackles.'

All opinions are valid...but eventually someone had to make a decision and the collective was for leaving the damage models in the aircraft at a higher than stock game level.
