I am working on a mod that will allow U-Boats to be played on LAN (and probably WAN). I can actually get the U-boat to play, and it works! But I am having to edit the Balao to get the boat to load.
What I really need to know is where can I edit the MENU that lets you select the boats (currently only shows american boats). For the life of me, I cannot seem to find where it keeps the menu information.
Thanks in advance, if you can help me do this I will add you in the credits for this mod I am going to release.

go to: .....\SilentHunter IV: Wolves of the Pacific\Data\UPCDataGE\UPCCampaignData\Career start.upc and Flotilla.upc
and open with a text editor, (preferably Notepad).
the campaign boats are set in those files if you need em.

Ok, I will look in to those files and see what I can do, Im looking specifically for the menu for LAN games. I made a mission for LAN/WAN games and used U-Boats and the mission editor lets me check it as "human control", but cannot be selected from the list. I could make a mod that changes one of the American boats that can be selected but you would have to have this mod to play together on LAN.
-Edit: Turns out Im forced to make a mod to install , ill make it compatible with jsgme. Expect a release.
