I run win 7 and am having problems installing ( not downloading ) mods into the mods folder. We exracted mods via zip 7 to mods folder and nothing shows up. During this process it reports errors on all files. could it be an adminrator premmision problem Can someone point us in correct direction

Try WinRar to extract mods.

Thank you for suggestion for win-rar we downloaded it ( for 64 bit) and had the following result:

This is just a small sample the 400 plus files that we get the same message on can anyone suggest solution
PS we have attempted other mods with same results

Win 7 problems can often be pernission related, check UAC

@johnlax: did you install the game in your Program Files directory? Win7 can be very picky about changes being made to anything in there, as lafeeverted has said check the UAC settings, I turned it off completely so I don't know what it will prevent you from doing depending on how it's set up but it's a good place to start. :yep:

Just be aware there are security implications (which is why a lot of people leave it enabled). Still no harm in disabling (at least temporarily) to see if it's causing a conflict.
