Greetings,
Supplied are two versions of the mod (use one or the other, not both at the same time), one with three MG-34 machine guns inside the turm and mounted on the bridge and the same but with 2xMG34's.
The main feature of this mod is that I've re-scaled the Type 9 c-1 turm (conning tower) to make it larger so that the crew on the bridge look in correct proportion to the turm and not bigger as was the case previously. I've also incorporated features of my other "Super Turms" mods such as the UZO model rotating to match the UZO bearing, the lowering and raising of the Radio Antenna (SHIFT+A/CTRL+A keys) and the turm objects such as the MG-34's ammo drums, coffee cup, UZO and helmets disappear from inside the turm when surfacing and re-appear when diving.
The mod also incorporates Privateer's "Turm Emblems Your Way Type 9" mod and a 9c-1 turm emblem template TGA file, Tomson's Dials and is fully compatible with Anvart's GWX_DFa-Flag&Pens_2010, Flags, Pennants and DF Antenna mod.

I see two problems - I don't know if it is my installation or the mod: the external circle of the compass on the tower is not visible and the player camera on the tower is too low, at the crew shoulders height.
Hi mate,
I will check the compass tomorrow don't know about the camera because I use a Wide angle free camera mod and don't ever play the game so don't ever use the compass on the bridge but if there's a problem it should not be difficult to fix.

Morning folks,
I fixed the outer compass ring and missing needle on the speed dial also think I've sorted the camera and need to tweak it a bit more. Will release v2 of the mod later today.

NB: If you make your own Turm emblem using Privateer's template please remember that the tower outline is for placement only. Once you have
placed your emblem/s on the front and/or sides of the tower the tower outline needs to filled in black or cutout so that you are left with only
your emblems on a solid black background as any black areas are displayed as transparent.

I only just found this website, look at the pictures of the turm scaling especially the size relationship between the crewman figure and the turm. I think my scaling was pretty close

I have downloaded and used the V1 of the IXC 1 turm
Everything Ok but the emblem

It is the U-518a emblem from GWX
The same happens when I change the emblem.
Any help please?

Can you save your emblem file as a jpg rather than a tga and upload it somewhere and post it to this thread please and I'll have a look.

OKAY I have sussed it, the new turm uses Privateer's turm emblems your way, you will need to use the template supplied to make a new emblem or two, see my previous post above. You cannot use old emblems with the new turm.

Yes, I´ll test with LSH (in campaign) when I become a type IX sub !
At the moment I drive in LSH with your Super-Turm-MOD 5.1 and an VIIB (first Turm) without any problems (only little adjustmenst necessary).

To answer your question....its close but the men are still a tad too big.Ok,that said it doesn't work on my GWX with no other mods installed.Any ideas?
Seems like. The Sh3 crew is quite bulky! (On steroid's more like it! Imagine 45 of those in a Boot:o)
I don't think it can be scaled equally to the crew. At least not 100%
So a over the thumb estimation should suffice!
And beside, the render is smaller anyway,.

A question:
This mod, the Super Turms and Super Pens are compatible with LSH3? Did you make some test? I like to put all these stuff in LSH3; but the CTD are very very frequent...
Do you have some JSGME list with additional mods for LSH3?

The uniform mod is RaptOr's mod (raptOr's uniforms v2) I think, the Kaleuns cap is part of a mod by Vennatore (Sp.) I split if from this mod (his Your U-Boat Commander's uniform) mod or similarly named and made a seperate mod of it for my own usage.

Hi Aces,
great that you fixed this annoying problem! I think the tower could be even heigher. I am 1,82 meters tall and standing on the conning deck of a VIIc, the edge of the conning tower is about the height of my chin.
Of course, I don't know if the proportions still are correct when bigger changes are made, one had to figgure out first were Ubi actually made the mistake that caused this problem!

Hi mate,
I'm pleased that I've been able to help. It's been quitea steep learning curve but very interesting and rewarding. I don't know exactly how much bigger the Turm should have been I've had to make an estimate and think it looks in better proportion to the crew than before. It's not just a simple, make the turm taller, one has to reposition and adjust lots of other releated things as well so I'll not be changing ths in the near future.
