How do ditch the radar

I got a VIIC from BDU and it was equiped with the radar which is attached to the from of the conning tower. But i dont want it bacause it sucks and my u-boat emblem is now partially buried under the damn radar. But there is now way to remove it from the upgrade screen. How do i lose it?

I will see what I can do and if possible, add a No Radar option to the Upgrade Selection Menu.

OK, here is how to add the No Radar Option in the Mechanics Upgrades Menu List.

Add the info below to end of your Data\UPCDataGE\UPCUnitsData\Equipment.upc file.

Do you also know how to make the radar not work? Because the radar is still working even thought it doesnt show anymore.

Do you have a Radar Warning Receiver(RWR)?

Using Notepad, Copy and Paste the content of your PlayerSettings.cfg.rep from last game save in a CODE window. It should be located @ Documents\SH5\data\cfg\SaveGames\<LastModifiedFolder>

R01=NULL

Uhm yes. I thought the green stripes where for the radar. But they are for the reciever huh? Ill check to see if i have radar equipment in the radio room .
