I stole 7 traffic sings, one traffic cone, attempted to steal a portable traffic light, swipped 50l od fine mechanical oil for the CNC machine from work, joyrided with a tractor and drove on a half finished section of the highway. Plus, I hit my fathers car on a fence post and then saying I was hit on a parkinglot, starting an accident investigation involving the police. Oh, and lets not forget the beer barrel I took of the delivery truck, but I had help then.

God gave me an earthquake . . . .once . . . . .no it didn't count as natural disaster. There was nothing natural about it. Well I asked for it. It took God 3 loooooooong seconds before he gave it to me right then right there. People were scared kneeling down with hands on the ground, even just standing up was scary, no way to walk or run either. The floor literally moved all over as if a giant had been shaking or playing with it. I'm sure there was CCTV there. People outside the vicinity didn't feel a thing though. They didn't even notice.
Never asked something as crazy as that before(except asking to see Jesus face) and never have again. I just then felt like asking something which answer I required to be an earthquake[so that I can be sure] so I did and He answered. I was hesitant to ask at first but in the end I couldn't help not to so I asked and waited for 3 long seconds before God answered me. [straight face]
No I don't expect the reader to believe this. The story just won't register in most people sphere of reality and possibility. But there you go.
HARP is more believable or a deep ground drill and my asking was just a coincidence.

Some of you older people may remember the stand up comic Brother Dave Gardner. I still have several of his records my parents had in the attic when I was a kid. I guess he was better known in the 50's-60's. One of my favorites, course it may be the flavor in which he tells it.
"Once a Preacher asked his congregation to confess and testify all their sins..to get them out.
A man stood up and said he cheated on his taxes...
"Tell it all, tell it all." said the preacher"
A lady stood up and said she was having an affair with the Choir Director.
"Tell it all, tell it all, get all your sins out.." said the preacher"
Old farmer stood up in the back "I once made love to a goat."
The preacher shocked...
"Boy, I'd kept that one to myself."
Guy is really funny if you remember the culture back then.

I've never had a girlfriend and today I find most if not all women that I know of or encounter to be a boring specimen even if they are physically very very attractive.
The average people no longer get me interested.
My current ideal women must have personal knowledge of God to prove she's chosen(favored) because I'd go crazy trying to dig why God is interested in her, an idealist, political activist with courage, exceedingly smart or an intellectual with broad interest and beautiful to me inside out.
I knew from the beginning it's NSPE: No Such Person Exists.
Ordinary life experience makes boring, shallow and small people. I prefer watching tv than meeting or engaging such people than to be disappointed in the end burned and emotionally drained

When I was in my 20s I go "oooh aaaaahh" everytime catching an attractive looking girl. Now go "Meh" or at most "Um.., Meh". They just seem dim now. That women that would drive me crazy is no where to be found and it seems unlikely to be found either. What makes a women a women and a personality deserving love is what I'm looking for but most people fail at this. They just feel ordinary(read boring) and uninteresting. Most men jump at sex than love but that's not me.

Castout's from Singapore, my confessions are from Singapore.
#1 A friend and I got in a taxi and asked him to take us to some whores (after a very drunken night out), he drove for ages and stopped down what seemed like a 10' allyway. We got out and these figures stepped out of the shadows as we paid the driver. He drove off, I glanced in my wallet and saw nothing - I given the driver my last! "Lenny!" for he was my friend, "I've got no money!".
"Shtt, neither have I!"
And thus ended my only encouter with whores. But it was the beginning of a very long stagger through a strange, but fortunately small, country to find our hotel :D
#2 In a nightclub called Madam Wongs (how wong it was, too!) I kissed an extremely attractive lady
boy.
My welsh friend Velcro (he thought it better than Taff) was in the same club and he got ALL the stick. I got away with it :D
#3 I got booted out of both the British High Commision, and the WO & NCOs Club for skinny-dipping during barbeques. I wasn't the only one.
I'll just go now...:shifty:

But that's not a confession, it's a wonderful cultural reference. :sunny:
p.s. When I listened to "Chucky and Baby" as a kid I obviously never got this reference:
Chucky: "Come on, Baby, let's blow this joint."
Baby: "Naw, man, pass it on to the waitress."
When I heard it again as an adult I wondered if my dad got the joke, way back when.

Umm here's another(I don't mean to delve into religion and I don't mean it but here's really something I haven't told)
If you read the bible on the day of Pantecost it is written the gathering disciples of Jesus heard the coming of the holy spirit by the sound of a mighty wind.
Well a mighty wind is outrageously NOISY and it certainly was/is.
What most people never realize is that that mighty wind sound was never heard by any people outside the house they were in. Zip there was no sound to the outsiders. The sound of the mighty wind could only be heard by the people the holy spirit intended to reveal itself. It is certainly a very very loud sound of the mightiest wind that one could possibly heard but to outsiders it is as quiet as bedtime ;). If not it would wake the whole neighborhood.
No they were not hallucinating or being schizophrenic. I refer to such happening as selective sensory revelation. That is selective to specific person or group of people.
But then again who would believe me. I am aware most would not appreciate this either but as long as I speak the truth I care nothing else.
If people mock me they are in fact mocking themselves anyway since I speak the truth LOL. Given the end of time everybody will know it anyway. It will not be long since the dead can't possibly register time :O:

I somehow doubt that a merciful God would reward such vindictiveness with eternal power. You jest, but most jokes have at least some basis in perception. If you even believe that to some extent, you are missing the point of heaven. This life is a difficult and often joyless one, that is true, but it serves to test your faith. Faith endures. Faith is eternal. If there is an eternal heaven ruled by a merciful God, does it not stand to reason that He would value faith?
That's part of my view, anyways. Maybe there is no God. Maybe all that awaits us at the end of this existence is oblivion, but even if that were so, would it hurt to have a little faith? Would it hurt to believe in a higher ideal?
I'd suggest that the world to change its composition so that there will be less evil and stupid people and more good and wise people. Like 50:50 so that we can have a war instead a persecution LOL. War is always interesting.
Yes, war is always interesting. Our flesh makes it so. The vicissitudes of nature and evolution have created beings that find a place in a dog-eat-dog world full of conflict. We fight, or we flee or we die, and thus cease to be a part of the system that created us. You're right about this world being an uninteresting place in that respect. But what about you, who takes joy in war? Is that not an expression of the faithless natural world that wrought you? What about you, who judges the faithless as "stupid"? What place would a merciful God have for you in a Heaven that is "heaven" by nature of not being any of the things you are disillusioned with?
Speaking of which, I'd best pull the plank out of my own eye while I'm judging you. I delight in war. Well, not so much in war as in fighting. Actually, that's not accurate either, I delight in the idea of myself fighting for others, provided its for a good cause and others don't get killed. It's not perfect, but I believe the Lord will forgive me for my sins and those of the people I served with.
Anyways, our Lord Jesus has already taught us these things by His example. He was not vindictive, nor did He judge, and He ascended to Heaven by enduring the worst of earthly pains. Surely, you know this. Was His example not clear enough?
Stay strong, stay faithful, and be judged by your actions towards others. Take responsibility for your failings and confess your misdeeds. Be virtuous and courteous, and you will enjoy a heaven all your own in this life. The world is full of cheaters and liars and opportunists, but you can still find peace and happiness within yourself.
-------------------------------------
Now, for you atheist-types who will inevitably presume to question what I have said here. Do not question me, and do not question Castout. I've already considered every argument you might posit, and I will refute them. Moreover, I'm not really interested in disputing them. I have my faith, and you have yours, which is as it should be. I don't judge you for your faith or lack thereof, so please do not judge me for mine. I'm well within my rights secular or not, to present my views. Judge them as you will, but do not presume to judge me.
Alright then, back to confessions. Um..I play DnD and I put a lot of voice-acting effort into the role-playing bits. I play Warhammer 40K with an "Iron Hands' Space Marine Chapter because I think cyborgs are cool, and also because I have to play Space Marines because I'm a Marine. Playing any other faction just isn't classy. In short, I am a nerd, and proud to be one.

Vindictive? WHERE??!! If this is revenge it's so pathetic and useless LOL. Very funny indeed. The one who is being vindictive are my enemies. There's basis to that perception it was a joke but there is basis to that. In fact it's a joke because it is not. So you're judging me unworthy of heaven and eternal power? Umm interesting. . . . . .Everybody will get what they deserve in the end so I can't complain and oh I've seen God so my faith is not just a belief. You misunderstood taking a stand with exacting revenge. I did what I do out of necessity not revenge. And oh there's a good chance I will. . . .make it to heaven though I'm not sure about the eternal power. Surely I'd love to have it LOL. I've seen it the BIGGEST shi* that could happen to any man any time. LOL. It is better than even owning the whole world for a lifetime LOL. Much much much better. It's like being Nebuchadnezzar multiplied by a million time and last forever and ever and ever and ever and ever. God is calling his people not to become some sad followers or losers but to be great mighty kings of the realms whose authority comes directly from the Almighty God and which rule is eternal. There I said it but hardly any people could ever digest this.
My pastor thinks in heaven what we all do is singing praises. . . . . .to me ruling is definitely much better LOL. Every one of God's children will be a mighty king life has yet to see. From the cake that will end all other cakes. The cake that has been won by Christ, the Lion of Judah, the mighty savior. Cut the cake! Give us the share!!!! LOL. The cake that will make every king in this world to weep in bitterness and regret . . . . for they fought and struggled for it but received none of it in the end.
You don't know what power is until you know God's.
Gives a whole new league to the words that ABSOLUTE POWER ROCKS ABSOLUTELY!! Pfffttt

Ummm..okay...you're so serious are you not :haha:. Umm never said faithless people being stupid people at all........which is is more stupid those who confess with their mouth that they worship God and place another man instead as his object of worship or the ones who honestly said they never believe in God and did the same?
You know there's a very WIDE gap between sacrificing oneself to being made a sacrifice. If not why bother with homicide? My enemies made the mistake with me because I'm no Jesus LOL and because of that they will be punished severely for their own stupidity. They lead themselves to their own death and it will be sweet because Revenge belongs to the Lord of Might whom these worms stupidly offended times and again and again. Has he lost his mind? Can he see or is he blind?
Can he walk at all? Or if he moves will he fall?
Is he alive or dead? Has he thoughts within his head
We'll just pass him there, why should we even care?
He was turned to steel, in the great magnetic field
When he travelled time, for the future of mankind
Nobody wants him, he just stares at the world
Planning his vengeance, that he will soon unfold
Now the time is here, for Iron Man to spread fear
Vengeance from the grave, kills the people he once saved
Nobody wants him, they just turn their heads
Nobody helps him, now he has his revenge
Heavy boots of lead, fills his victims full of dread
Running as fast as they can, Iron Man lives again!

Come on guys - my three confessions, and a few from a couple of others cannot cover five pages of 'confessions'.
B4stards, you know all my secrets.
Well, only the ones involving Singapore.
@Castout - I thought you were from Singapore, and because you were against the regime you became persona non grata and moved to Indonesia. If you're from one country and are against a regime in another - well, surely that makes you American. :smug:

:DL. Unfortunately it's personal as much as it is not. If a person is running from a cruel dictatorship in Singapore and only moved to Indonesia he's being stupid. Money talks big here and can buy almost all people including religious figures. One prominent US based Singapore dissident approximated Lee Kuan Yew wealth to be in the range of 80 billion dollars effectively making him and his family the richest people on the planet. That amount is excluding the state funds in hundreds of billions more that they control through investment corporations, GIC and Temasek. But that's said it is still far better here than actually being on the island. I'd have gone either crazy or dead if I had stayed there. It would be like giving them second chance to actually finish me this time.
huh?
Exactly! No disrespect but just shut up won't you. You know neither me nor the people that run Singapore to judge me in any way. Even if you actually work for the government of Singapore. Because even the employees of the government of Singapore are only told what is necessary and live in fear too(their telephone is tapped and monitored). Lies and terror like in any other dictatorship is a big game in Singapore.

Brilliant. I shout commands at my computer screen in German whilst playing Silent Hunter, as best as I am able. I take particular joy in depth-charge attacks, where I listen to the hydrophones for the steadily increasing beat of hunting destroyers props. Then I lean back, close my eyes, and say "Hart backport", or however you spell that crap in German. And for a couple of totally awesome seconds, I'm in Das Boot.

Close, it's "hart backbord." Are you playing with voice commands? I've always kinda wanted to try that.

Sadly, no. I just impotently say things to my computer with nobody around to hear. Except when all the annoying sad-sack losers I call room-mates are around, which they always are. Or their kids, which are even worse.
Actually, I think that's your girl dumping a pail of water on you.
If I ever found a girl who would do that for me during the flooding scenes, I would totally marry her in a heartbeat.

I think I still have a download of SH3 Speech on my backup drive. I wanted to try it, but never got around to it. There was a new thread recently in the game forum about voice commands, made me think about giving it a try again. I'd even printed out the manual of commands that were (I think) already "loaded" into it, you just had to do some stuff to train the voice recognition software... I think I didn't have any voice recog software and wasn't sure I wanted to fool with it at the time.
IIRC, it was set up to recognize either German or English. And as much as I liked the idea of giving commands in German, I think it was the possibility of yelling things like "put us on the roof, Chief" that appealed to me most. :D

Wha....? Why would you ever want to give commands in English when German sounds so much more awesome. Why say "put us on the roof, Chief", when you could say "Stellen die uns aus dem dach, chef"? That's probably not a good translation, and in fact it probably means something completely different, but it still sounds awesome.
For my money, German is the best possible language for wargames. Virtually the entire language sounds like a declaration of war. I can see using English for 18th-century sea battles if done with the proper accent, but I wouldn't want it on a submarine.

Well obviously she'd have to be skilled enough in the use of a bucket of water to not splash the sensitive electronics. Or she could do it while I'm plotting things on the chart-table (it's not really a chart table, just a separate desk I use for the maths when playing SH3). Also, she would need to be able to make good sammiches.

OTOH just yelling "ANBLAAAAASEN" is sort of equally cool.

I don't know, maybe somebody said it in The Hunt For Red October. That was my first sub movie IIRC. I think I like it because it's a command given in "sub lingo" which just sounds cool, as opposed to yelling "Emergency surface!" or whatever the "official" command would be.
