I havnt been playing sh5 for a few months and I did have it working
perfectly. A few days ago I updated some of my mods to their latest versions , allso I noticed when I started the game the Launcher updated to a new version. Since these 2 events my game keeps CTD seems to be
random at this stage. Ive included my mod list in the hope someone might
notice some obvious clash or maybe a mod I have failed to update to the most current ver that may be causing a problem.

your mod soup seems ok... in what situations you have ctds?

just put TDW FIX after TDW UIs... this was not gived you ctds for sure

Take your mod list back to what it was before changes. Add one change at a time, then try it.

You will find which mod was causing the problem this way.

Never change more than one thing at a time.

Hi guys , thanks for your comments.

Stoiman when you sugested using the DW's Fix I assume you are
refering to the FX_update_0_0_16_2_UHS_fix , Ive tried that but no change. The CTD at this stage seem to be random but usually occour
while engaging other vessels and when I change stations. I will continue a bit longer and see if I can notice some constant relating to the CTD.
The Main reason for changing my mods was the rel of the latest DW Mew_UI's_6_4_0. Obvoiusly I checked all my other mods for their latest
DW compatible versions. Ive included my previous modlist that was working fine. At worst I could just go back to that.

Why you not try the Magnum Opus and i will help you to build your mod soup from there?

the one listed in the above post was an earlier version , that by the way
allso worked fine.

A A My DW Settings SH3GUI 6.2.0 = these are my personal settings for DW's options.python file , made it JSGME comp,. for ease of editing otherwise I allways forgot where to find it and this allso kept the original file intact

And Yes Stoiaman I will try the Magnum Opus mod I do remember
giving it a go but for some reason I cant recall at the moment I
reverted to the previous setup. Unfortunatly im back to work in
the morning but ill look into it in a few days time.

thanks again for your input. I love subsim , every time I have problems
I allways get responces straight away. I am still awaiting a response from UBI Soft Tech Support from when I first bought the game and couldnt even get it to load. Maybe if I fianlly hear from them ill sugest to add
subsim to their payroll because with without you guys I would have returned the game ages ago , not that the game I play now much
resembles the game they sold me.


By the way can anybody recall the text to type in to open up the campain
ive forgotten how to do it.

if you want to use MO and soan do not install SOAN... just install after MO the TDW ui 6.4 ... see here what mods you need to install if you want to use MO:

Yes... my sig is to big.... some friends told me that they can not read what i am posting because of my sig:DL... maybe i will lower a bit my sig:hmmm:
