Kriegsmarine Grid Map for MO and TDW UIs by stoianm

Install last after other mods.
Install with the mod enabler(jsgme)
anytime eithert in port or on patrol.

Is there any benefit having this or is this solely for immersion? I did notice a few radio messages containing grid coordinates.

What is the meaning of this? For example "KMS"? Class of ships?

On the map you have some black lines (convoy routes) and under the line is writted OA for example.. that means in 1943-1945 the convoys used that shiping route

For example England - Halifax (you can see it is OA , OB) ... means was used as shipping line between 1939-1940 and 1940-1941... this is just a gues

Don't know the meanings offhand (apart from Hx = Halifax), but they're 2 or 3 digit codes indicating the start point of the convoys. The code would be followed by a number to indicate the actual convoy (eg: PQ-17)

'KMS' was the Allied code for slow convoys from Britain to the Mediterranean starting in November 1942. For all convoy codes see here:
