I think that the depth charges in real fleet boat are too easy to fight. My boat is always ok after bombing. What you think about it? How change the zon. files? I want real fleet boat with realy strong dangerous. No holiday on patrol with poor depth charges

PS Sory for english

The guys at RFB (to my understanding) tweaked the Japanese sensors to act like their real life counterparts. Believe me, a fleet boat is a big target but if you let a DC get close enough you WILL take damage, you can have as many near misses as you want, but it only takes one good one a couple meters from your hull to end your career.

Consider yourself lucky it hasn't happened to you. I was approaching a convoy, I thought I was in a clear and a Chidori class escort ended that. completely.

PS. your english is fine

Plus the Fleet Boats in RFB are no longer the heavily armored beasts as in the stock game. They are now very vulnerable, kind of like a chocolate covered marshmallow. One good hit and your dead.

You may want to try TMO with added even more aggressive escorts if you want to some death match style fun with the escorts.

My rfb experience is that with 1 escort I don't worry that much, but if a few are on me it gets ugly fast---which always seems to happen in shallow water :)

Quite. The same rule applies to aircraft too. :shifty:
