hey mates, i managed to get the Oscar II of Jhapprich's mod working in standalone for 1.5 on the german side, now its time for an American Version. :rock::up:

requires UBM because of the torpedo sharing + equipment sharing ATM, until i find a way to make them all US torpedoes.

1st release!
NOTES: you start with an empty crew
click 'refit' at the end of every patrol.

okay mates...
i am currently stumped by an issue with the starting crew....:stare:
ok, i cant seem to get crew onboard at the start of a campaign....:timeout:
it works fine otherwise.
any help would be appreciated!

i would like to change the speed, displacement, crushdepth, etc to realistic values..... i have a book on warships that can help me as an aid.:O:

Anytime I have seen that problem it was a difference in the ranks used. Some MODs change ranks, but in this case the German is different than the American.
Check the sub.upc vs the sub.upcge file for IDLinkCrewMember=

Here is the US: IDLinkCrewMember= POComm
Here is German: IDLinkCrewMember= Crew-Seaman-Rank-1

They are both from the same position in the "CrewmemberSlot"

You could check that to see if it may be the problem, since you are converting from German to US. You may be trying to fill the sub with ranks that don't exist.

bumping this for an update,

anyway, i managed to get the missiles in port, and the crew coding is 99.9% done, havent worked on this for a while due to RL issues/other conversions.

release will be soon.

@CJ, this was not a fixed date. so dont make sly comments about release dates, etc
EDIT: gotta couple major bugs to Squash + CTD

ive managed to put missiles in port, but the Shkval torps youll have to refit the boat before entering port.

When i make a german side playable for the american side i also end up with a ghost ship i have no crew.

I can fix it in the career mode but single player missions are useless.
If you ever found out how let me know please

Some say i have to use the crew files from an american sub but no idea which files.

Anyway thanks for the release ;)

Gentlemen, i am using the OSCAR II mod at the present moment (the normal Cruise missiles dont work, they just launch directly behind the submarine, and the P6's get about 100m away from the target and do a 180/) :doh:

But my problem is, i am stuck in the middle of the Ocean not being able to move, i have a full crew, and im not on battle stations, and the ship says there is no damage...:o help?

Expandables works for me, with "T" key, P-6 seems to be unguided and for distances over 4000 yards they detour at 90 degrees at approach to target

TMO2+TMO upg+ TMO metric speedchart +RSRDC TMO 502+ SCAF RSRDC 502 2.0+ LBO vs3+ MAXOPTIC 4 for tmo2, some of these chenge key configuration, i have F3 for attack periscope, F4 deck, F5 map and so on
Ctrl+enter is fire and T is for extesibles
I will try without other mods and i'll tell you

Nope, shift+x didnt work.
Im running 1.5 with no supermods, just Websters 300ft visibility mod as well :)

CJ, i am trying to fix that problem, with the missiles..
no luck so far, :down:

but hopefully a solution will come upon me.... :shifty:
