Hi guys I need some help.I have a bad water shimmering effect and no matter how I set up my Nvida setting it won't go away,it's almost like the game itself isn't recognizing the Nvida settings everything else looks good in game, just a real bad shimmer or grainy effect on smooth water.Any Ideas? :damn:

Another idea that might help would be to uncheck all of the boxes in graphics settings (within the game). If it solves the problem then recheck a few at a time and see what happens. If unchecking fixes the problem then the two most likely candidates would be "Post Process Filters" and "Detailed Waves".

I have tried that but,to no avail still get the grainy shimmering look on smooth water.

Gumpy,

Check this thread out. It's in the main SH4 forum, and is stickied so it's easy to find.

Same thing happenned to me at first. What was screwin' the pooch on my settings was leaving the 2 boxes under the Enhancements tab unchecked, which are Enhance In-game AA settings, and Gamma Correction. Once I did that, the profile worked.

Just a shot in the dark is all.
