I think AOTDMadMax already made the launcher for his boats in FOTRS but I would like to see it as a purchasable weapon for fleetboats

then we'd need shore targets too :arrgh!:

I remember seeing someone made a "land unit" that could be static that would give you credit when you destroyed it.

I suggested for the Modern Sub team to have know target locations for nukes, TLAMs or what have you but I don't think they're that far ahead in their project for that. For fleet boats I wonder if someone could tweak the files so that it's mobile? (For that matter I don't think a submarine would engage a tank... but what do I know you guys are geniuses I'm sure you'll find a use for it).

They were used to bomb coastal targets in Japan. can't remeber which subs did it , and could be fired at PD

I know he gave it to me back then.. can't find it anymore :wah:

They are also on the SCSubChaser in FotRSU... I think... one of those little sub chaser type ships... I'd hate to be sitting in that chair right next to them when they launch though... I'd want me a firesuit or something - and ear plugs!...

Off the top of my head USS Barb captained by Eugene Fluckey was so equipped. IIRC it was on of the "fun toys' that Lockwood was looking into near the end of the war along with the CUTIE and the bubble decoy.

that's what I was refering to from the fischer tropp archive : the IJN had AAA rockets at the end of the war !
