how do i make a custom emblem?

i'm trying to use this mod

to add this picture as an emblem

i've got a "the compressonator 1.5" to convert it to a .dss file but when i add it, it just shows up as a black square on the sub D:
what am i doing wrong :c

needs to be done in the alpha channel so that the figure would be visible, that is to outline it and paint over the white

what photo editing software is that?

and would the grey be grey enough to stay or should i edit that out aswell?

Photoshop latest version can be any color, black, crimson, but that would figure in the alpha channel was visible, it must be painted over in white.

If you do not understand what is Illyustrator better understanding of English than I do, so I also use a translator.:D

The most reliable variant, that all could see yours Screenshots.
1. Create "Album" in "Profile".
2. It is desirable to keep Screenshots in jpg a format (it all browsers understand).
3. Load into "Album" Screenshots.
4. Press a miniature of yours Screenshots. (There will be a big picture and under it two references).
5. We copy the top reference.
6. In "Message" it is chosen "to Insert the image".
7. In appeared "Window" it is inserted this ссыку. (The reference is copied entirely. http://- necessary to remove).

(I am a green forum user :))
I always wanted U-703 emblem, because it had interesting history in the Arctic (It even saved some Russian survivors from Hopen Island - including one woman!) It travelled further north than probably any other U-boat and then dissapeared without a trace during one patrol. And, what was interesting to me, its second captain Joachim Brunner was born in my home town of Wroclaw, former Breslau.
