:sunny: All a happy new year 2011 and much success in life :yeah:

I'm doing a trade.
where the step by step how to show the
Gr2-Granny Viewer of the models of SH 5 Exports
and Imports in 3D Max 2007.

I ask you all to further expand and
I try step by step with pictures for everyone .

Before we find a better solution to my friends Privaater and Skwasjer for us found. :arrgh!:

Now we go to the - GLXtractor - Ordener and start the program
nun gehen wir in den - GLXtractor – Ordener und starten das Programm

then you fill out ... so the words of the GLXtractor the GR2 then fetches the
OBJ files from the Granny viewer where we in the C: \ Program Files \ Granny Viewer
Have installed.
dann füllt ihr das aus … also des heist der GLXtractor holt Sich die GR2 dann zu den
OBJ Dateien aus den Granny Viewer wo wir den auf in C:\Programme\Granny Viewer
Installiert haben. ( Schweres Deutsch !! )

I am best used for Save Texture As: TGA
and down here you can see where he was taken out textures
stores (at - Save Folder)
am besten benützt ich bei Save Texture As: TGA
und hier unten seht ihr wo er die herausgenommenen Texturen
ablegt ( bei - Save Folder )

then right click on the tubs SHOW LOGS
looks like ..
dann rechts auf den Butten SHOW LOGS klicken
sieht so aus..

ok that it pushes something right so you can see in the log extract.
Granny and makes the viewer on some left... Looks like so ...
o.k das schiebt ihr etwas Rechts damit ihr die Log bei Extrahieren sehen könnt.
und macht den Granny Viewer etwas Links auf …das Sieht so aus …

Please click on the right GLXtractor

and goes to the - capture - and give the boat a name ... forget not the - Name.OBJ -
und geht auf den Reiter - Capture - und gebt den Boot einen Namen…Vergisst aber nicht das .OBJ einzugeben

Now press Start Applicaton .. and then a new empty window

jetzt auf Start Applicaton drücken ..und dann erscheint ein neues leeres fenster

now is out of the starting Applicationen a Waiting (waiting)
please note on the right side to move its data allowed the log.
So the submarine still off operations on Load File and the U-boat
NSS-click and open Uboat2.GR

nun wird aus den Start Applicationen ein Waiting ( Warten ),
beachtet bitte auf der rechten seite bewegen sich die Log dataien.
Also das U-Boot noch einmal auf Load File und das U-Boot
Auf NSS –Uboat2.GR klicken und öffnen

This is very important for scaling and can be adjusted according to needs.
U-Boot ist in Viewer und die Logs von GL Xtractor zeigen bei SCALE : 1 000000
Das ist für die Skalierung ganz wichtig und lässt sich nach den Bedürfnissen einstellen.

If you still want to be sure you'll move the mouse on the viewer
In the model with the mouse and press Ctrl + Shift + f the export has the same effect.
Wenn ihr noch ganz sicher gehen wollt dann geht ihr mit der Maus auf den Viewer
Auf das Modell mit der Maus und drückt STRG + Shift + f das hat den gleichen Export effect.

File.

Wenn ihr in eueren Granny Viewer Ordner schaut , seht ihr UBootTYPII.3736.OBJ

Yes! Today I found out how to get the originals UVW,
but I get no pictures ( DDS) from viewer.
Probably I need to work with colors.:hmmm:

All I get these is this pictures .... ok .. i have the nams of the images the viewer were to take written and then rejected.
I suspect that states the name of image is Image_2D_0065_0033 is 0065 (0bj65) and 0033 (0033 is the MaterilPosition in
Multi/Sub-Object )

I have now tested on max7, Maybe it is possible in Max 2011th:hmmm:
But the first export/import of 3D max7 (obj) to (GR2) worked,
Now I would like it to a submarine tower (ConingTower) testing.:03:

My biggest dream with this game would be to have a fully working Type 2. The model is allready done but they abandonned developpment halfway.

The only thing to do now is the interior...

Shall I send you my unfinished state of SH4 and you might remember you about the animation to make diesel.
Because that to me is still a foreign word.
And with the flags you've got a little practice .. or!
The animation I did in 3D Max already said grooves include only the import and is still a problem

i agree i would like to see a full working type II uboat for SH5. nice little boat IMO,

but they realy are missing 3 boats from SH5 and that was the type II and type IX

The 2.6.0.10 Expotron Exporter does not have all the needed features for SH5.

Been there, done that!
The Extractors also don't grab the 2nd UV channel. (AO Mapping)

Also, If the model is not built correctly in 3Ds Max?

On Export with any GR2 plug-in?
It will not work correctly.

I researched the post from "Tomi 099" 01-01-2011, 11:31, but all the links in this post are already outdated and do not work. Convincing request mododelov if anyone has the archives for tools for export-import in Max 3D 2007 put them, or give an alternative link to these tools. Yours faithfully!

IIRC, there are no legal, adequate, amateur tools for work with *.gr2 in SH5.
