We are now in SH5 lot of interesting mods, but I miss the most important thing in every submarine sim - realistic sinking of ships after torpedo and deck gun hit.

I use "critical hits torpedos 1.1"-mod and compared with stock game I exceptionally like on this mod, that you never know what the effect of your fire will be. This is great idea! BUT. With this mod (this is the only mod converting the torpedoes in SH5!) are torpedoes hits very unrealistic. I can sink with one torpedo any ship in SH5 - OK. But I always sink large vessels such as Medium Troopship (17.138 GRT) or Troop Transport (16.965 GRT), merchant cruisers Patroclus, Rawalpindi atc. (11.000 - 16.000 GRT) with one torpedo and big Dale class (20.000 GRT) und Cimmaron class (7.600 GRT) tanker with one or two torpedoes...

This is in submarine sim very unrealistic and above all too little enjoyable:nope:

SH5 really needs now a realistic model of a torpedo and deck gun hits such as in SH3 LSH, tGW or GWX, expecially defective torpedoes (early explosions...), more difficult sinking of ships with torpedoes and deck gun and slower loading of deck gun.

Any idea for such mod please?

I fuel tanker with 4 torpedoes, tonnage in the handbook is written 20,858 (not selected the correct vessel) actually 7,604 tonnes. and this is the mod critical hits torpedos 1.1. and critical hits v1.2

at the first screenshot is the last shot, missed the first three, then two torpedo hit the stern of the vessel, the third hit in the nose and the last torpedo is also in the nose of the ship.

yes and Update 1.2: Lowered all damage by 25%
