Help - CTD on Single Mission exit

Question for experienced modders here .... I'm attempting to include the playable MS Pinguin into the TSWSM which has been modded to sit on top of Ops Monsoon ... now while you may think this needs to be poste dint he ATO mods forum ... I have a generic question .....

What typ of errors can cause a game engine crash when you exit a single mission ? I enter a test mission, check the layout of the ship etc.... then press esc and select exit to windows. I then get the mission summary screen (the one with the ship in backgroun) ... when I click next ... I get a CTD instead of a clean exit.

This only happens for playable Pinguin mod loaded on top of OM 7.2 patch 5 and does not happen with any of the other playable ships in the TSWSM ships development pack.

I think I had this problem once before when setting up a previous playable warship but can't for the life of me remember what fixed it.

Will be very grateful for any thoughts on this.

I get this problem occasionally as well. Do you also get the CTD when, instead of exiting to windows, you try to play any another single mission?

Yes - I do get crashes when trying to play another mission ..... so we both have the same problems.... I wonder if we can work out what causes the CTD. I've not made or tested the unit in campaign yet - so am not sure if it will CTD when existing a mission having docked at port. My CTD is occurring when exiting a single mission.
