Hello

Is there any mods out there on which it would give us an accurate bearing/heading reading from the gauges? I've seen SH3 GWX mod (I think it was) on a tutorial video and I saw some form of "digital" heading readout gauge accurate enough down to 1 degree. Is there any for SH4 as well? I find it difficult to actually have to inquire my crew all the time with the view to heading feature.

The digital readout was probably the Gyro angle indicator on the scopes/TBT screen :hmmm:

If I understad it right, what you want is a way of quickly converting relative bearings to true bearings (So you can set your course to the target you just located) right?

That's difficult, as the only thing that gives you instant readout of that is a compass with an internal bearings division, like the one on the task bar but much bigger. In SH3 it was possible to add enlarged gauges, but in SH4 things seem to be much more complicated. There was however some time ago a mod that added such a compass to the radio station. Do a search for it and see if it works for you

Thanks Hitman,

I think it was heading when I saw GWX but I'll take a look. Anyway I was looking for a way to have a "digital" readout or something much easier to read relative/true bearings for fine targeting. Needles sometimes are less preferred for me...

put your periscope to zero degrees. Tap the = button. Crewman will announce true course if you are nice to him.
