Is it possible to have the sound for periscope up/down play while standing in the control room and conning tower? This always bugged me.

I've always had a problem with that too. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a fix for it. On the other hand I've always thought it was a bit too loud anyway, so recently I've silenced it altogether in both SH3 and SH4.

Many thanks, Sailor. I havenīt any sound in 3D conning tower when up/down boths periscopes; only in F3/O stations (SH4 1.5 + TMO + Vickers Interiors + RSRDC).

guys I'd like to add TMO's periscope shear up / down sound to the stock game 1.5. Does anybody know the mod and/or its link? stock periscope sound sucks...

Since you've heard it, I assume you have DL TMO.

Just go to the Data/Sound folder of TMO and copy the Periscope_UpDown sound file, then go to your stock game sound file, right click on it and paste and let it overwrite, that should replace it fine.

You could also look online for wav files sub sounds and see if you find one you like better.
