View Full Version : GWX & adjusting RPM manually - gone?

Ahoy all,

I reinstalled SH3 with GWX 3.

Now as I recall I could change the RPM manually from within the control room (using shift + F2) on the RPM gauge.

Now that doesn't work anymore. Can anyone help me get this back? I may have used a mod or two, but as I recall, this was standard feature of GWX or even stock.

Just set speed to a certain knots level. Speed and rpm seems to be proportional.

I remember someone playing around with the interface adding RPM dials (port and starboard), but I don't remember it ever got to something definite.

Hmm come to think of it, I may have been adjusting it with the usual knots gauge and then WATCHED it change on the RPM gauge. In other words it may have never worked the way I explained earlier.

If only i could trust my memory :damn:

There is the Silent Speed Mod by Payoff. This Mod add a new forward speed, 50 rpm,(about 1.5 knots) to the existing 5 forward speeds, in exchange for 1 of your reverse speeds plus a new engine telegraphs & mini dial with a 50 rpm slot, in all compartments.

I look into the MOD and I mean YES, because there are only .tga and Sound Files ! Just try it with JSGME, if it does not work, you can simple disable via JSGME !

Best regards,
Magic
