I have a mod clash problem which causes the emblems to appear large and cut up and spread all around the turm. I have been trying to isolate the problem by switching and changing mods but I've yet to discover the cause - can anyone suggest which mod causes the problem?

That pack includes my historical emblems pack which works with the "Turms your way" mod. Or you can create your own using the instructions in that mod.

As stated in the Turms Your Way documentation,

"Note that 'Stock' type emblems will no longer work with this mod enabled."

If you have enabled the Turms Your Way Mod or any "mod pack" that includes it, you can no longer use any of the stock emblems that came with the game, or any other emblems made to the same stock specs. If you are going to put an emblem on your tower it must be one that works with the TYW mod - which means either you or someone else designed it per the instructions and using the templates that come with TYW.

If you select one of the "stock" type emblems it will not display properly while TYW is enabled. Ideally, before enabling TYW all non-TYW emblems should be removed from your Emblems folder (and backed up elsewhere) and replaced only with emblems designed by another modder or yourself to work with Turms Your Way.

Thanks for pointing out which mod was the source of my emblem problem, I gather from reading the mods instructions I can only use Private Godfrey emblems with name format

U-Number...Tower_type....Design eg... U-566-7C1-1

I shall give this a try once I've run out of torpedoes on the current convoy I'm stalking.

The cover girl emblems from CapZap1970 look rather Picasso like with this mod!

You can use my emblems or tarjacks or anyone else's that make use of the Turms_your_Way mod. They can be called anything you like as long
as they are in the right format. Privateer provided blank templates for the type 7B and 7C in his mod and if you follow the instructions and can use a graphics program like GIMP they are pretty easy to construct. I chose the naming convension to reflect that some U-Boat's carried different emblems at different times and also to refect that you can only use the type 1 tower with the 7C for these emblems to work.

When using Privateer's new emblems mod, note the following:-

1) Old emblems if used with this mod will appear oversized.
2) It's a good idea to backup and remove all existing emblems from data\Emblems\SubEmblems
3) New emblems are not intelligible via the Silent Hunter III emblem browser, use a graphics tga browser to view available emblems.
4) Compatible emblems are available from Pvt.Godfrey (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/../member.php?u=234467) and TarJak (http://www.subsim.com/member.php?u=226560)
