Don't know about the rest but it's a real hassle to disable mods and re-enable them whenever a new version of a mod is available, particularly when the mod list is as long as mine's.:O:

:yep: particularly since there has to respect the precise order

Before making changes, copy and paste you installed mods to a note pad .txt for reference of order.

If using the Jones Generic Mod Enabler (JGME), did you read the help file which explains saving and loading mods?
Clicking on the "Tasks" underlined bar in the enabler, gives you the option of loading or saving mod profiles, etc. Mod profiles are generally saved in the username documents list.
There is a help file text in whatever folder you installed the JGME. Additionally, clicking on the "Help" underlined bar will display the JSGMEUG.pdf file.

Nah, I just do a ctrl Prt Scr of JSGME and paste it into a word document.

Yeah, fortunately though it's much more of a hassle than it is to quickly read the User Guide and find out how to create mod profiles with a mere one or two mouse clicks...
But, whatever way you prefer. I guess it is easier to complain.

Although mod profile is good but it loads up the old profile not the updated one. Still have to manually reload all the mods. Also when I did load the profile, certain mods files were missing. I did read the user guide some time ago and had forgotten about the profiles.
As for complaints, I see it as room for improvement. No need to be sarcastic.:nope:

It loads whatever profile you chose/saved. If you change your installed mods list, then you should save a new mod profile and reload it when required. It's quite simple. No room for improvement in JSGME, just room for improvement in user. ;)

Well, it's still a hassle to disable a whole bunch of mods when you update as for my original 'complaint'.:O:

had no idea about mod profiles, so this thread is actually good for us non readme readers

I have to admit that I make a brief read through readme files. OK, shoot me then.:D

I thought it was much easier before I started using it. All I had to do in those days was completely remove the whole game, reinstall everything from the ground up, and then restart any career I had going. All the while recognizing that if I did one single thing wrong I had to do it all over again, this time knowing I had to find out what went wrong somehow.
Simple as pie. :damn: :rotfl2:
