Here it is. It's JSGME ready. Just like yours it's a Subschool mission (SS10, US only). You'll have to do with the WCA hydro, but stock SH4 still gives you plenty of detection range.

The probability of a certain target course isn't evenly spread out. There is a higher probability to get a target course around 45 or 135 degrees, because of how the random waypoints work. (more points lie in front an behind the center of a waypoint area, compared to courses tangent to the edge of the waypoint area) But that certainly isn't a reason to expect it to be just 45 or 135. It can be made with more even probability, but the waypoint patern is allready complex enough.

Pisces. This came from that 8010 thread you guys like so much. This subschool add-on is probably the very best thing to come out of there.

I like it because it allows a quick practice on tracking and sinking a target. But it needs a bit more updating. I would like it to be daylight and be very bad weather. Lots of fog and rain. Not necessarily high wind but mostly fog. I need to practice sonar only attacks.

I've been using it for sonar only but it needs the rain and fog.

Also, I'd like to have a radar set to get an initial bearing on the target. Also can we get a couple of destroyers for escorts too. Make em pretty good but not elite. And maybe give the destroyers radar but not quite as good as the player's. Just to keep me under water. Oh and if you do escorts, then make the player sub a Gato or Balao class please, I need a good diving depth.

Multiple thanks Pisces.

Oh and one more thing... More variance on the speed of the target/convoy. Thanks.

Ok, I'll see what I can do. But I'm not sure why you want more speed variability. It allready has 10 steps or so between 4 and 12 kts.

[EDIT]It spawns every 12 hours, so you allready have a daylight situation. It starts at midnight and noon.

I didn't know it already had that much speed variation. 4 to 12 is OK. It just seems like most are traveling at 9 10 or 11 knots most of the time.

Thanks for your time on this by the way. Many thanks.

Yeah, I really have some doubts about how random or evenly probable the probabilities for waypoint-forks are. But if you wait long enough you'll get real slow movers as well as fast ones. It could be because you can only enter fixed number percentages.

You'll need a hell of a lot of patience to see all posibilities in the game happening. Opening the mission in the mission editor and pressing the play (simulation) button and time-accelerating shows it much better.
