So I started a new campaign yet I set it in late 39 with the 2nd(?) flotilla, and I get my first contact while Im traveling under water, I go on surface and meet her course perpendicular, I set up, aim and fire. It was night and I watched as a magnetic torpedo explodes right under her and is going to for sure sink her. Then as I look closer in free cam, I notice a german flag:damn::damn::damn::damn::damn: I hope it doesnt sink :o

Just hope it wasn't Herr Doenitz's personal liner:har:

(If it goes to court martial, blame it all on Bernard:D)

My plan exactly.... BEEEEEERRRRRNAAAAAARD!!

Bernard: Yes Herr Kaulen?

Me: I thought you said that was an enemy ship

Bernard: I did Herr Kaulen

Me: Why do I see a German flag??

Bernard: No it couldnt be let me look/

*looks through scope*

Bernard: Herr Kaulen that is definately an allied ship.

Me: And how can you tell that?

Bernard: Well because A) its sinking Herr Kaulen, we wouldnt sink our own ship and B) red flag with the black cross is British

Me:......:nope:

Bernard: Herr Kaulen?

Me: Do me a favor, go open a torpedo tube and lay inside of it while we close it. Its your new bunk

frau kaleun,
In the Soviet army it takes more courage to retreat than advance. :o
Those were some scary dudes, some say that why the allies won the war.

Invading Russia: almost always an awesomely awful idea! Of course it's not actually the invading part that gets you - it's the staying there, and the getting home afterward. Napoleon learned that much and that was long before there were any "Soviets" to deal with.

In short...

I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.
