I was flipping through some books and I stumbled across a air-to-surface missle called the Igo. Mitsubishi's radio controlled Igo-1-A was powered by a rocket motor producing 240kg (530Ib) of thrust for 75 seconds and was planned to be slung underneath a Ki-67 bomber (another Mitsubishi craft). This picture was taken before it flight trials in the autumn of 1944. The war ended before the Igo-1-A was deployed in military operations. The Igo-1-B was a design produced under Kawasaki. It too was radio controlled and its transport was a modified Ki-48-II (Kawasaki). The missle had a rocket motor generatin 150kg (330Ib) of thrust for 80 seconds. it was planned to use a Kawasaki Ki-102b aircraft as it launch-platform. 180 missles were made but none saw service. The Igo-I-C was designed by Tokyo Imperial University's Aeronautical Institute and used an acuostic seeker to home in on the noise of a warships' guns. Trials in 1945 are thought to be successful. The design came too late to be mass produced.

The Kasagi was built by Mitsubishi (Nagasaki), launched in November,1944 and was never completed. It was planned to be 745 feet long overall, have a full load displacement of 22,500 tons and carry 64 aircraft.

The submarine I-15 taken sometime before November 2, 1942 carrying two Ka-Tsu's. The standard armanent of the Ka-Tsu was two torpedoes or two 25mm. However the one on the right appears to have torpedoes and 25mm guns, possibly fitted by removing the superstructure that appears on the left vehicle

That's basically the SC we already have. The one I did for RSRDC has the radars and guns change accurately by CFG date.

Miner showed an image of one of those landing ships he'd already worked on, didn't he?

Yeah, and it is a beauty. Miner does amazing work. I hope it can also find its way into JMM as coastal traffic.
