This mod changes the default sound of stopwatch ticks. The new sound is quieter and is meant to be less intrusive and irritating. The new sound comes from an old wristwatch - it's no more grandpa wall clock like.

Requirements
Silent Hunter 5 game, any version
Installation
Install/uninstall using JSGME (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=173323). For instructions check JSGME help files.
If you want to use other mods that among other sounds also change the ticking sound, install this mod after them - otherwise it will have no effect in game.
You can safely install this mod mid-patrol (no need to start a new career or return to base).
Install this mod with the game switched off/closed.
Updates
For newest version of this mod check: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?p=1493325
To update remove any previous version of this mod and install the new one.
Known issues/conflicts
The sound of ticking watch is also used by game when new torpedo tube is selected, so you will also notice that switching your tubes is quieter. This side effect is not intended, but it is also not damaging to the sound experience when operating tubes.
Tested on vanilla game version 1.2 and with "New UIs by TDW" mod v. 4.3.0.
Documentation
This mod changes 3 sound files (replaces them with new ones, while JSGME takes care so that the original files are safely backed up):
- \data\Sound\Clock.wav
- \data\Sound\periscope_chrono_tick.wav
- \data\Sound\periscope_rotary_TorpSelect.wav
To my knowledge only periscope_rotary_TorpSelect.wav is used by the game to play ticking sound - the other two files are not used. I included them just in case someone fixes that strange default setting and restores Clock.wav or periscope_chrono_tick.wav as source of clock ticking sound.
All 3 mod files are identical.
