My first step toward modeling

Well, since I am forced to learn 3d Modeling for being in the engineering university.
I start working on this, as doing car part becomes boring.

I am trying to model the Super Yamato Gun.
Currently, the gun barrel is finished.

Though I still have no imagination how to shape the turret and gun body.
Still basic though, using circle, extrusion and basic geometrical shape.

Going to learn how to makes curve and other new things later on.

I applaud your ambition, but as I am a sub guy I'd be more enthusiastic about modeling the VII wardroom, PO quarters or similar to be honest!

Hmm, I might be able to model a table and few chairs.
Only things bother me is the tablecloth as I had no idea how to do it.
Give me some interesting challenge :yeah:

Since we already have those items in Flakmonkeys interior mod, how about a torpedo room, or electric motor room for the type VII?:hmmm: Just kidding, I know you have a lot to learn. Looking good so far.:up:
