French Warships...

I've checked the downloads section, but I didn't find any. Are there any mods that add French warships to Silent Hunter 3? I'm just wondering, because even in GWX they only have 1 destroyer type. Sure, France got knocked out of the war pretty early, but not having any of their ships around just feels weird.

Living Silent Hunter mega mod for example have the nicest looking warship for SH3 included, the french battleship "Strasbourg" (made by Gerome_73)... it also have special made gun turrets and screws. :rock:

The Strasbourg have a neutral status, but will defend herself if engaged.

there are also some mine layers, mine searcher boats and canon boats included.

Your correct regarding the small number of French ships included in GWX. I do however have the Strasbourg and one or two others in my installation....it is simply a matter off adding them separately or as a small additional mod.

The Strasbourg is part of an additional mod BBW and I put together with the permission of Gerome and one or two others.

If your using GWX I can upload the package but if not I'd suggest you follow the advice of the other posters.

Add the ship via JSGME then open up the Campaign_SCR MIS file which can be found @ C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\GWX3.0\data\Campaigns\Campaign
and add the ship.

I would do it for you but I doubt your MIS file would be compatable on my installation.
